Situated 4 and a half hours north of Sydney the picturesque village of Hat Head is a mecca for families seeking a relaxing break. Summer Bay Cottage is 3 br cottage situated at 26 Straight Street, 100m from Hat head beach.
Comfortably accomodating 6 (1 queen, 1 double ,double bunk) it is ideal for both family and couples looking for a quality holiday letting. Features include large refrigerator, dishwasher and auto washing machine.
Main bathroom has been rebuilt with frameless shower area.
Second newly renovated bathroom/laundry
Undercover parking and outdoor cooking and entertaining area
LINEN IS INCLUDED FOR ALL BOOKINGS. Foxtel. AIR CONDITIONING NOW ADDED.
JUST BRING YOUR CLOTHES, FOOD AND A SMILE.

The perfect holiday home - comfy, beautiful new bathroom and with everything you need. Minutes walk from the beach (ideal to take in the sunrises with a cuppa) and next door to the local convenience store. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely old style Hat Head cottage.

Very relaxed, low key accomodation. Close to beach and shops. Hopefully the cafe next door will be open again soon. Don’t forget to bring your own salt and pepper!

Blissful hat head holiday

We had a lovely time staying at Summer Bay cottage. The cottage was the perfect location and we could bounce between the creek, the beach, and the bowling club easily. Our toddler loved the passion fruit vine and riding her bike around the driveway. It was also so handy being right next to the cafe so could easily get coffees every morning! Thank you for having us!

The perfect family-friendly retreat

We had a delightful stay at this well-located property, surrounded by the calm and charm of a peaceful area. Everything we needed was within walking distance—the general store, the beach, the bowling club, and a playground. The house was just what we wanted—comfortable, child-friendly, and met all our expectations. While we missed out on the cafe, which was opening the week after our visit, this spot was better than the beachfront options as they had mosquitoes where this did not. Dealing with the owners was a breeze and made our experience smooth and enjoyable. The linen, towels and toiletries also made it an easy experience and having access to a washing machine with a toddler was great. Highly recommend this lovely accommodation for a relaxing family getaway!

Great stay in Hat Head

Clean, comfortable and lovely house centrally located in Hat Head, a short stroll from the beach. Plenty of amenities (you don't need to bring anything, including a wonderful Nespresso machine with capsules provided). It was pricy but we did book last minute during school holidays. One big downside is that there is no Wifi. I had to work and needed it. In this day and age with everyone on their devices, I think it's an absolute must. In my view you could skip Foxtel and just offer WiFi and people can connect to their own Netflix, Disney. Other than that...a great place. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
