Why David Cowden chose Millboro
The comforting seclusion of the mountains, forests, fields and streams truly set this property apart. A 3,200 acre estate ready to be explored. Outdoor activities abound with hiking, biking, trout fishing or simply relaxing by the pristine swimming hole.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
The 360 views of the Blue Ridge Mountains can be seen from every window of the house. Both floors of the home have porches where one can sit and listen to the river babbling. Lush gardens surround the house where you can find hydrangeas and other flowers blooming.

great place for time away!
We moved our annual President's Day weekend trip with friends from the Eastern Shore to the VA mountains this year and were lucky to find Riverside House. The house is perfect for a good sized group, well stocked with everything you need and located in a peaceful setting. Erin was wonderful to work with in helping to answer all of our questions.
The home is on historic Fort Lewis Lodge, a full service country inn where dinner reservations & activities are available upon request: http://www.fortlewislodge.com
