Situated on over an acre of land, this mountain getaway boasts unobstructed panoramic lake and mountain views. Perfect for a relaxing getaway with the family, friends or that special someone!

The space is true weekend getaway home with comfortable and polished amenities like a full kitchen, Wi-Fi, smart TV, great insulation, and a master suite complete with a soaking tub. Step outside into in the real woods on top of a mountain with views of the valley and Lake Isabella. The stillness is so relaxing. Read a good book while sitting on the massive front or back decks. Enjoy family games or movies in the large family room. This home is well insulated and cozy. Enjoy meals at one of three indoor or outdoor dining tables where you can watch the shadows of evening soften and silence the forest. Get lost in the night sky under bright stars unobstructed by typical city lights. The bedrooms are comfortable and relaxing. The home is located minutes from the Kern River for river rafting and the town of Kernville where you can eat and drink at the new addition of Kern River Brewing Company. About a 40 min drive further up the road from Kernville, you can find the "Trail of 100 Giants" which contains some of the world's largest and oldest Sequoia trees. During the winter, enjoy a quick 10 min drive to Shirley Meadows Ski Resort and the village of Alta Sierra.

Excellent house , lots of space indoors and out. Super clean and exactly like the pictures. Fantastic views of the mountains and lake. Hosts were very responsive and offered lots of local recommendations.We had a very relaxing and nice stay at this home.The location of the house was about 10 minutes to the lake and river. I recommend staying here to anyone wanting a relaxing trip.

This house was beautiful. Lots of room. The view was beautiful. Only thing is there was a few things that didn’t work. The pull out couch was jammed and was not able to use, the dishwasher would not close and the floor in the back room where the washer and dryer were was very loose almost felt like you were going to fall through. Otherwise every Was great. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful cabin, nice lake view, clean. Just be careful not to drive into neighborhood drive way, some of them are not nice, location is good. However the drive way is hard and the GPS will take you to the neighborhood drive way.

Overall the place was everything you need in a vacation rental home. The lake view was lovely. All the basics for cooking meals were there. Everything was in working order. The owner was responsive to all questions and gave great suggestions for things to do, see, and eat. There were deer wandering outside each morning and good star viewing at night. The drawback at the time of our visit was the long, steep, rutted, dirt/gravel driveway. OK for renters with all-wheel drive vehicles who don't mind a few pot-holes. However, if you drive a low clearance 2-wheel drive vehicle you will struggle to make it up to the house.

Quiet and Relaxing

I was looking for a quiet property for some rest and relaxation and this place did not disappoint! The views were great, the area was super quiet and the house was perfect. The bed in the master bedroom is probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. It was heavenly and provided a great nights sleep. The best perk is all of the deer that were roaming around the area. I definitely hope to return in the future.

Family fishing trip at Lake Isabella

This really is about the nicest home in the area. Don’t be fooled by the way the other properties look on the way up to the property. It really is a beautiful home. Perfect for the weekend getaway. The drive up is a little confusing initially but just use the gps and you will be fine. No Compliants about this home. The owner was very polite and thoughtful. Me and my wife will definitely re-visit again.
