Hello Margery I do agree the pots and pans are old thats why I just replaced them with all brand new ones. The carpet us only 3 years old but tge contractors that clean the carpet did a bad job but I have no down time to get them recleaned. The appliances have been updated but are still pretty standard. I added a foodie Ninja which is an indoor barbeque which is amazing you might not if noticed it in the cupboard. Finally in the summer time we can look at all the updates that need to be taken care of thankyou for your help

Wonderful location in Old La Quinta

We enjoyed the convenience of walking to the great restaurants and shops in Old Town. We took longer walks on the nearby Cove and Bear Creek Trails. Check-in and check-out were simple and straightforward, and Joan responded quickly to messages.

Well located to old town La Quinta. Wonderful pool area. Very easy to check in and prompt communication from owner. Oven wasn't working but owner was quick to get it fixed. It would have been helpful to have had enough TP for our entire stay, instead of having to buy our own.

Palm Desert Getaway

We had an enjoyable stay. The Condo reminded us of places we have stayed in Europe. It has a European charm. It was clean with easy access, located on the bottom floor. The salt water pools are nice and quiet, not crowded at all. The location is nice, directly across from La Quinta Old Town. We enjoyed both the Art fair and Farmers Market. We are from Seattle, so it was nice to be warm and dry.

It was absolutely perfect for our 5 night stay over the Power Trip music festival at Empire Polo Clib, in Indio. It was just 2 of us, but can certainly accomodate a family. All essentials were provided in kitchen & bath. Bed was super comfy. Quality linens & towels. Stacking washer & dryer saved the day. Easy access to quiet hot tub & pool. Condo and grounds were pristine! Easy access to shuttle service and inexpensive lyft transportation. Got groceries right up the street and utilized the full kitchen. Also ordered in via door dash and snuggled up for a few movies on netflix guest account. Great place to getaway together! Thank you!

I loved staying here and I fully plan to come back. Honestly, the photos don't quite do this place justice. I stayed here for 5 nights during a very hot August to finish writing on a deadline. The condo was comfortable, the AC worked wonderfully, the wifi was fast, and it was very quiet. I loved walking into town and taking a dip in the pool. I got a ton of work done and I had no problems during my stay. There is a Trader Joes nearby and even though I bough groceries, I forgot to bring cinnamon for my oatmeal... the Happyplace had a spice rack. She thought of everything. There are two condos from this owner, one upstairs and one downstairs. I'd originally reserved the upstairs condo but was given the downstairs condo, just be aware, that you might be switched, but they are both identical. I highly recommend staying here. I will be back. Thank you!

This Has Always Been a Happy Place. The Name was Created by My Mom, Who Traveled to La Quinta Every Spring to Golf and Escape the Last Days of Winter. It Was Her Happy Place and Has Continued to Be For Many Guests Over the Years.
