Easter in Barwon

Easter break with our family and friends was perfect at Barwon Abode. With comfy beds, fully functioning kitchen, 2 lounge areas and great garden for our pooch. Thanks Kelly we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Cozy & spotless

Being all on one level was great for my elderly mum and easy to keep the dog contained! On arrival, the house was immaculately clean!Furnishings are comfortable and contemporary, kitchen is well appointed and a joy to cook in, with a huge island bench, and open plan living/dining. Beds were extremely cozy, with lovely thick doonas to keep us warm on this icy weekend. Luxurious towels in the bathrooms, with extra if needed. The yard is very big and my dog enjoyed sniffing and running around, lovely views to the yard from all living areas. Whilst the property is pet friendly, there is no separation between front & back, so a little tricky keeping the dog in whilst getting out of the gates, but we managed!Overall, a fantastic place for a mini break!

Fantastic place to stay

We had a wonderful experience, wish we could’ve stayed longer. The house is perfect with all the amenities and more. Plenty of space for our dog to run around the secure yard.

Outstanding family & pet friendly property

15 Wattlebird Cres is such an easy property to stay at. Outstanding floor plan for a large group. Single level makes for easy indoor/outdoor living. Super quiet. Shady for hot days. Heaps of parking. Comfy beds & 2 living rooms!!!!! Highly recommend

Family getaway

We had a lovely relaxing week at Barwon Abode! Perfect stay for our family of 4! The kids loved the bunk beds and it was great having the 2 living rooms… one for the kids and another one for us!! This was our second visit to Barwon Abode and it was as lovely as we remembered it!

Before Xmas getaway

Great location, lovely property. Well fenced for the dogs, with enough grassed areas to chill.. We stayed 6 nights and the only thing on the wishlist would be a doggie door. Hoping to stay again.

Loved our stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Barwon Abode. The house was spotless, beautifully presented and well equipped. It's in a quiet area near the river and a good walk to the main street. It has a great layout and would suit two families easily. The yard was secure and our dog loved running around it. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

Great break away

The house was lovely, clean, and perfect for our family of 6 and the dog loved the yard. We utilised the kayaks and life jackets on the nearby river and loved the walk into town for a coffee.

March Getaway

The house was perfect for what we wanted - something dog friendly (great backyard), walking distance to the main street and clean. The house & furnishings were lovely. We had a few bbqs out in the backyard, perfect way to end a day of visiting local areas.

Great Stay, lovely neat place!!

Thank you for a lovely stay at you neat property. It was nice that towels, bed linen and toiletries ( soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion) and little things were provided. It was great that we could also bring our loved family dog. Great location. Husband and kids loved to go fishing and bonus we even caught a fish. Highly recommend staying here.

A comfortable, homely stay

We had an enjoyable couple of days. Very clean, homely property, was great to be able to take the dogs without worry. Very practical flooring, and great fenced area. Had everything we needed and within a short still to the river. Comfortable couches and beds. Nice quiet suburban location.
