Casita en el río

¡Ven a visitar nuestra cabaña en el hermoso río Crowe, a 10 minutos al norte de Havelock y a solo 2, 5 horas de Toronto! Esta bien cuidada casa de dos dormitorios y 4 temporadas cuenta con espacio para entretener, tiene capacidad para 8 personas con aire central, una gran fogata, frente a la playa de arena y una gran terraza con una terraza acristalada con vistas al agua. Te enamorarás de esta ubicación perfecta para parejas, familias con niños o incluso viajeros de negocios.


La cocina cuenta con electrodomésticos nuevos que incluyen microondas, horno y refrigerador. Hay un nuevo horno, aire acondicionado central y agua potable.

El río Crowe fluye del lago Belmont y la cabaña se encuentra a unos 500 m del lago más grande que ofrece un frente de agua tranquilo en una zona de no despertar con un tráfico mínimo de embarcaciones. Durante los altos niveles de agua, los visitantes deben tener cuidado con la corriente en el medio del río, sin embargo, el agua cerca de la costa no se ve afectada. El río también es ideal para la pesca (lubina, lucio, lucio, muskie)

Dentro de la cabaña hay dos cómodas habitaciones, una con una cama queen size y la otra con literas de gran tamaño. También hay 3 futones para usar, 1 arriba y 2 abajo. También hay un paseo desde el sótano hasta una sala de estar cubierta con un sofá al aire libre y sillas. Hay una estufa de leña Fisher en el sótano para disfrutar de un momento tranquilo en el interior. La terraza también tiene una mesa de patio y sillones para relajarse mientras hace una barbacoa en una nueva barbacoa de propano.

La cabaña está situada en un lote suavemente inclinado hacia el agua con un paseo arenoso en el área. Hay asientos junto al agua y al pozo de fuego. Se proporcionará una pequeña cantidad de madera y se puede comprar más localmente.

¡Disfruta de un café en la terraza acristalada, el almuerzo o la cena en la terraza y una bebida bajo las estrellas junto a la hoguera!

La cabaña cuenta con sábanas, edredones y mantas para que su estadía sea cómoda. Por favor traiga sus propias toallas.

Our spring visit

My spouse and I really enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed our days there watching the river go by. Lots of places to sit and enjoy. Our hosts did a great job of making us feel welcome.

Great weekend getaway

Love this property, this was our second time staying here and we already plan to be back once again. Cottage is clean, stocked with just about everything you need and the owner is always available. Can't wait to go back in summer 2022.

Great view, nice owners

This is a spectacular place with a wide lot and a beautiful firepit. The dock, beach and water sports are great. The cottage is clean and has lots of space for a family. It has a lovely view from all vantages. The owners are responsive and kind. We were very happy with our stay!

Cottage stay

Stayed at this property last week. We were very impressed with how clean everything was, both inside and outside. There was lots to do between the paddle boards, cayaks, and games available. The hosts texted me to make sure all was good. Overall, a great experience!

Crowe River Getaway

It was nice to get away from the routine. We spent some time on the river, took in a couple local attractions and spent time playing games. Having access to the SUPs, kayaks, peddle boat and lawn games…this cottage kept us entertained.

Amazing stay..... Again!

This is our third time staying at the cottage... We absolutely love it. This time, we took my parents, 11 year old niece and our 1 year old son! Everyone had such a blast. There's something to do for everyone, you couldn't possibly get bored. The cottage itself is very well kept, the property is perfect. The beach entry with thr sand was our sons favourite part. Our dog even loves jumping off the dock! It's safe to say this is a cottage our family will visit for as long as Dale and Becky let's us! Thanks for helping us making great memories, again!

This was our third summer enjoying this lovely cottage. Dale & Becky are wonderful hosts. My daughters really love the beach entry and using the kayaks and SUPs to explore. They especially like seeing all the turtles. We can’t wait to go back next summer ☀️

Everything you could need in a cottage

While its listed as a "little house", it packs a punch in terms the amenities (bbq, kayaks, paddleboard, volley ball,) and comforts afforded. (A/C, wifi and good water pressure, etc..._ The sun soaked deck is perfect for whiling away the day, and if you get bored of that, its just a hop-skip to the dock. The hosts are friendly and easy to communicate with, and check in is a breeze. Would highly recommend both for an activity filled vacation, or one where R&R is the game.

Wonderful Cottage

This is a very wonderful cottage. I highly recommend it. Dale and Rebecca are very gracious and helpful hosts. There are a variety of different things to do inside and outside the cottage. We also enjoyed having different places to sit in the cottage. The kitchen is very well stocked with plates, cups, cutlery, pots and pans. We found the cottage to be very clean. It was also a very easy place to tidy up when we left. The cottage is well situated to Belmont Lake.

Perfect for the family!

The cottage was clean, in great condition and overall exceeded our expectations. The air conditioning plus the included wifi along with the quick responses from Dale and Rebecca were just one of the many great things to name a few. Along with all of this, the highlight of our stay was the many activities we did in the river. The river was not deep, it stretched all the way to the lake and it had practically no waves nor any strong current making this an excellent place to swim with our kids. Overall, we had a fantastic time at the cottage!

2nd visit as great as the first!

This was our second stay here. Lovely deck upgrade with the glass across the front for an unobstructed view of the water. The sand/beach walk in is such a great feature as well. We were out on the water most of the time we were there. We can’t wait to visit again!

Great house on the river

We spent two nights here and loved it. The place had everything we needed - from kayaks to a fire pit - to a fooseball table. Lots of activities. Dale was also great at responding right away to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again (just probably a different month - so many caterpillars everywhereee).

Relax and Enjoy nature

there are ample games and activities that Dale & Rebecca have set up for people to enjoy. Great location, very quiet, not to far from the town of Havelock. We had a great time there and would definitely return.

Honeymooners!

My now husband and I got married last weekend and we're so thankful we were able to find a cottage for our mini honeymoon. Dale was very responsive, answered all of our questions and was always available. The cottage itself was beautiful. It was clean when we arrived. The dock and water are the best part. I couldn't get my husband or dog out of it!! The water is so clear on the beach area and the water activities like kayak and paddle boards are so much fun. The fire pit is huge but a perfect way to end ur days. I think we know where we'll be next summer!!

Wonderful getaway!

Exactly what we needed-a beautiful and quiet get away on the river. The water is crystal clear and there are so many ways to enjoy it. From the beach entry to kayaks, SUP and of course just swimming! We fished off the dock, watched turtles bask in the sun and enjoyed camp fires at night. Very clean and well appointed cottage (with a Keurig machine!). The huge deck was perfect for our meals and we loved the screened in porch. Wonderful hosts, attentive and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be booking again next summer!
