A good place to stay close to San Juan.

This was a good place to stay, it was close to San Juan and other areas where we had to go throughout our stay. This is a small place, good for two people. Michael was excellent in responding quickly to our questions. He went above and beyond as a host.Two nice to haves in the future would be a queen size/softer bed and some drawers or nightstands to store clothes.

This was a good place to stay nice and quiet but if your planning to explore puerto rico i advice you to rent a car because it is hard to get an uber in this location other than that awsome place no problem at all plus perfect host great communicating

Place was very clean, and there is a great bakery 100 yards from the place. Owner was very helpful, only complaint would be the lack of an address, was a little hard to find the first time. I would recommend this place.

Beautiful place!

We stayed in the downstairs apartment of a lovely home. It was in a quiet little community and the neighbors were so nice! It is walking distance to the best bakery in Puerto Rico! As a group of females, we felt completely safe. There are stairs to get down to the apartment, but even having limited mobility, I was able to manage them. It ids an older home, but clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend!

At first glance it was not what we expected, rented lower section which did not meet our needs. Owner transfered us to second floor with a modest price increase and it was night and day. Wonderful. Getting around was a bit tricky, buy short. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Love it

House was berry clean. There is a panaderia really close from the house and. 3 or 4 lechonerias closer than expected the hot water in the house was the only thing that didnt work. But we was in PR lets heat up some water like the old days over all it was a good place to stay

Urban on one side/ Jungle on the other side

Beautiful sounds of the cocqui frogs and birds day and night, with foliage surrounding the windows. Space is exactly as shown in the photos, along with an outdoor patio.Non-closing vent/window in the bathroom is not a good feature. Only stay here with someone you're intimate with! Since there are 3 units in the house, it would helpful if the lockboxes were labeled. This place (apartment #1) is to the far right of the 'main' entrance down a narrow turn to the right. The nearby bakery and restaurant that you can walk to is FANTASTIC!

A few inconveniences

No gas in the tanks for the stove so i had to throw away the food that i had already bought. There was only one electrical outlet that woked which was the one next to the entry door so we had to take turns to charge the phones. The shower towels are the size of hand towels and theres no way of regulating the water temperature in the shower its either hot or cold this place was not suitable for a vrbo

This place was an absolute hidden gem. The location has everything you need. The amount of convenient little items inside were very useful. Loved spending 2 weeks here. Its not very far from the mall or beaches and i definitely found myself feeling comfortable enough to stay in and make dinner or have breakfast. I recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful place to sleep in PR for their vacation to come here. Nothing but Coqui's (PR frog) all night long. Super relaxing. Thank you to the host for the wonderful accomodations.

Todo muy bien tal y como se ven en las fotografias

La propiedad está muy bien, la ubicación es buena aunque imprescindible tener vehículo para alojarse aquí. La cama de la habitación muy comoda, los sofas se hunden un poco y no son especialmente cómodos. Si tuviera aire en la sala se agradecería mucho pues aunque no ha hecho mucho calor si te acaloras en el comedor. Sería bueno poder oscurecer más para dormir pero si no tienes problemas para dormir con luz no será problema. La explicación de como llegar no es especifica para el apartamento pero con una llamada se soluciono enseguida.

Decent Value, Needs a Little Attention

The location was very local away from most amenities by about 10-15 minutes, but we knew that when booking. It was a quiet and safe neighborhood and we really enjoyed where we were at away from the busy tourist areas. There were no curtains or shutters for any privacy, but we were able to hang some extra linens up on the windows that faced other properties. There was an open window from the bathroom to the dining room that wouldn't shut which was a little awkward, but again, we just put up a towel over it. There seemed to be no gas running to the stove, so we weren't able to really cook anything. The microwave worked but was extremely temperamental and hard to get to turn on. The fridge worked fine, there was a toaster, coffee pot, and a fine functioning washer and dryer in the patio. The photos from the listing appear to be partly of the upstairs 2 bedroom unit, and not the one we stayed in, but we weren't upset about the property aside from a few inconveniences. The host was great, and had we bothered to mention the issues I'm sure he would have accommodated, but we opted to just focus on enjoying our time as opposed to trying to get him to the property. Overall we did enjoy our stay and found it to be a good value, hopefully they can address those few minor things and make it a really great place. We would stay here again for the price range.

If you like a quiet and simple getaway in the mountains, this is the place for you.

We had a nice time in PR and this place was a nice getaway that was not too far from other activities that we wanted to participate in. Beaches, lakes, and other nature trips were somewhat accessible from this location. We’re grateful to have been able to stay at this VRBO.

Wonderful place to stay at

Our stay was such a humbling & beautiful experience! The views surrounding the apartment are amazing! The food @ the bakery across the apartment were absolutely delicious! Michael was so helpful with providing us helpful information. The apartment itself was perfect! The neighbor was absolutely hospitable and so friendly! I highly recommend this apartment!
