Beliggende på anden sal i et hus i den rolige Santa Teresita kvarter Ocean Park i San Juan, en kort gåtur til Ocean Park Beach, Barbosa Park, et supermarked og fremragende restauranter. Lejligheden har tre soveværelser, alle med A / C, loft fans og toiletter og to badeværelser. Det store soveværelse har sit eget private bad. Det fælles område er meget rummelig med et stort, fuldt udstyret køkken og vaskeri. Den stue og spisestue er en åben plads velegnet til hele gruppen til at indsamle og / eller slappe af. Stuen har et stort tv med kabel og dvd-afspiller. Apt. har wi-fi internet. Fra stuen er et stort dæk med bord, stole og en BBQ grill. Dette er et glimrende sted til afslapning i sene eftermiddag og nyde aftensmaden.

First time in Puerto Rico

It was our first time visiting Puerto Rico and John was very attentive and helpful. The location was perfect and within walking distance to the beach. We liked that it was in a gated community.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Walking distance of a nice beach and a variety of bars and stores. Not too far from old San Juan either which we really enjoyed as well. Made our experience very good overall and we plan to be back at some point.

Our stay was nice and comfy. We enjoyed the location and access to where we needed to go. We would of liked to extend our stay but days were limited. We appreciate the communication with the host. Anyone would enjoy this location

Affordable and spacious stay for a family

Good location and spacious accommodations. Excellent for a family on a longer trip to Puerto Rico who wants to travel on a budget and have good access to beaches. Neighborhood chickens can be a bother at night but one might say it’s part of the charm.

Puerto Rico vacation home

We really enjoyed our stay. Being near the beach was fantastic! There is even a grocery store near by that carried the goodies like the bread we love from the Island. The host John was really attentive and responded quickly if we had a question. Lots of fun and great memories!

Spring Break 2023

We very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very big, Which is perfect for a family of four. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying the breeze at the end of the day. The property is located close to the beach and also a short walk or drive to great bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay!

A great stay

A quaint home in a gated community, we felt very safe. We walked almost everywhere, the beach was a 5 min walk from the property. Only downside was there was only one couch, the pictures showed two. The patio was awesome, definetly our favorite place to hang out when we weren’t exploring.

Convenient location

We enjoyed our stay! A 10-20 minute drive to local sights and restaurants and a short walk to small grocery. The chickens, frogs, lizards and cats kept us entertained! John was quick to respond. We appreciate that he let us check out late so we didn't have to spend too much time at the airport. The apartment was nice but could use a thorough cleaning.

Great Place for Family

Our family had a great experience at John’s house in Puerto Rico! John was a great host and provided us many great recommendations for things to do and visit. We were a little bummed that the park was closed for renovations, but the location was within walking distance of the local beach and many restaurants. Thanks for everything, John!

Close to the beach

The gost was super nice and easy going. The house was really nice, very short walk to the beach. It had all we needed including beach chairs and extra towels for beach days. Only thing i would say is that nature can get a little loud very early in the morning, so i would suggest bringing earplugs.

Great review.

Great stay. Had some issues upon check in regarding cleanliness, living/ding room AC, and living room TV. All were remedied within an hour and a half of check in. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

Convenient, cozy, & comfortable

This apartment was conveniently located in a gated residential area near grocery shopping and restaurants within walking distance. It was cozy and comfortable with an outdoor patio and spacious living/dining areas. It was an ideal place for relaxing and spending leisure time. John, the host, was friendly, accommodating, and gave good information about local restaurants and events. We had a very good time.

Something Different

The property was like staying with a friend. We enjoyed the balcony and the beds were comfortable. Loved the chickens that roam the neighborhood. Having both the beach and the local market within 5 minutes walking distance was great. John was very helpful when we needed help and had great suggestions for things to do.

Family Vacation in Puerto Rico

My family and I (group of 6) had a great time staying at this property. The entire house was roomy, the kitchen was very spacious and had plenty cooking ware for us to cook all desired meals during our stay. So close to the beach by just walking 5-7 minutes, supermarkets and key roads really nearby. Special thanks to the host, Mr. Lombardo for his excellent service, kindness, and prompt assistance when needed. Mr. Lombardo, we really appreciate you for everything. We definitely, would like to book this house again on our next visit to Puerto Rico.

Excellent Home in Ocean Park

My family and I just returned home from 7 days in San Juan. Already my kids said they missed “our home” in PR. John was a gracious and welcoming host. He made us feel like family. The home felt a lot bigger than the pics. It was very clean. Our favorite was the outside patio where we had breakfast every morning. The master suite with king bed was perfect. The location was close to everything and the gated community felt safe and secure. We couldn’t have asked for a better home or host ! Thanks again John !!

Neighborhood Stay

This is a great house all upstairs, with patio also up. It's nice and bright inside with the windows. We have younger kids, but there's space if teenagers. Two dining areas counting the patio, plus living and kitchen. Walk 5 min. to grocery store and beach. John is a great host. He can recommend restaurants and sight seeing. He also has a notebook at the house with local recommendations. We enjoyed eating in the neighborhood. It's a gated community with nice neighbors. In 15 minutes you can drive to Old San Juan or back to the airport.

A Nice Home Away from Home

The property had nice amenities, including two full baths, washer and dryer, and a nice rooftop deck with a gas grill. Access was hassle free with a four digit code punched in at the doorknob. The owner was very attentive to our needs throughout our stay, including supplying a generator during an island-wide power outage. We also enjoyed the roosters, chickens and cats that roam about in the gated community. The beach was only a ten minute walk from the property. The only drawback was the need to enter and exit the community every time through a monitored security station, rather than through the gate at the end of the street, which added about 5 minutes to each trip.

THE ROOSTERS

The description of the property was pretty on point with the exception of the trio of wild roosters that have made their nests across the street. What I am going to say is not to deter you from booking here, but to inform you of the experience…The roosters crow every minute like an orchestra from 1:30 am to roughly 9:30 pm. I am not being dramatic. I have video to prove it. You need to ensure you plan your day around the roosters. For example, if you plan to stay out until 10:30 pm plan on the whole family getting 3 hours of sleep. We were completely exhausted by day 3 of 8 and had to cancel plans to take day naps (We are very active people and never take naps). We got to the point where we reserved a night at a hotel to sleep because we needed time away from noise. For those who may be thinking that we are not use to animals or roosters; this is not new. We raised them and other farm animals growing up. We have come here every year since forever and grew up on the island. The crowing is an issue.

Right near the beach

The property was clean, and in great shape. John was a terrific host, and any issues where handled quickly, and completely. Calls were answered immediately, and we had a great stay!

We try to combine our knowledge and appreciation of Puerto Rico with our experience as travelers when we meet and communicate with our guests. Besides the best known tourist attractions, we try to identify other more unique opportunities that our guests may enjoy and make their trip special, depending on their interests.

This house is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood which really makes you feel at home. There are no fancy, new condos or other touristy businesses, just lots of shady trees and some nice residential properties which you can appreciate as you walk on your way to the beach or park.

The house location is excellent, with attraction for the whole family nearby. You can walk to the beach for sunbathing or active water sports, there is also a park nearby that offers tennis courts with lights, a running track and a kids play area. A very well stocked supermarket is a ten minute walk away. A bus stop nearby takes you to Condado and Old San Juan.
