Este país paradisíaco se encuentra a orillas del hermoso lago Catchacoma. 3 habitaciones con 3 camas queen size. Incluye fogata (leña incluida), cañas de pescar, 2 kayaks, flotadores, mesa de billar, dardos, TV 3D y sistema estéreo envolvente, reproductor de blu ray, videojuegos (Wii, Xbox, PlayStation) cocina completa con lavavajillas, microondas y horno tostador , cafetera, lavandería, terraza grande (recientemente renovada) y barbacoa, bañera de hidromasaje, estufa de leña y muy cerca de Little Gull Marina y The Catch (food truck). Great location for a weekend away with family and friends

Jay and Susan's place was a perfect location to relax for a weekend in nature with a small group of family and friends - being on the lake the views were especially lovely. Very comfortable, lots of great activities available, and close to beautiful hikes!

Had a great stay. One day of rain, but still lots for adult kids to do (19 and 22yrs) - darts, pool table, movies, etc.. Comfortable and practical, great view.

We loved staying here last year, so we came back again and had a lovely weekend. The cottage is very cozy, with a lovely lake view and we took full advantage of using the hot tub! We’ll be back again for sure!

We try to make a habit of staying here every year. It's the perfect cottage getaway. The place itself has everything we need and more, and Jay is an excellent property manage that makes everything a breeze. I just got back and already can't wait for next year!

Wonderful Getaway

Cottage was above expectation!. The view is gorgeous and the cottage is very clean and spacious. The appliances are up to date and the amenities were fabulous. The pool table and darts were fun and the hot tub with a view was super relaxing. I definitely look forward to going back.

Wonderful location

The cottage was in a great location with direct access to the lake... Very few weeds and great for swimming. The cottage itself was as described with amazing amenities and pretty much anything one would need. Jay was gracious and responded to any communications immediately. Loved our time there and can't wait to come back again.

Adorable fun getaway!

We had the most lovely new year's eve with 5 friends. We even braved a cold plunge into the icy lake before jumping in the hot tub. It was perfect. The cottage way outfit with loads of games for a cozy, celebratory winter weekend. The hikes near by were also spectacular and well worth a winter visit! Would love to book a stay here again!!

Beautiful retreat

We loved it. The upstairs was very modern and wonderful. But my teenagers loved the basement/downstairs! Playing pool, darts and poker! Honestly it was a much needed escape. Would definitely go back

This was a quiet getaway to beautiful Catchacoma L. in the Kawartha Highlands. Views from deck and upper floor are beautiful. As already mentioned, couch and chairs should be replaced. Thanks to hosts for sharing your cottage with us.

Beautiful and complete

retired couple + wife's sister, revisiting a lake where the women stayed summers growing up. Very complete, well furnshised rental. Beautiful , clean lake, not very busy or noisy despite many many new "cabins" -- some very large -- lining the shore. Friendly neighbors. We used washer dryer, kitchen, pool table, kayaks, dock. Microwave a bit tricky to use.

A weekend getaway with friends.

This was our second year staying at this cottage and we really enjoyed it. It was a good time to relax and get away for a weekend. The only issues we found were the gaming systems weren't available this year and it malenations them in the initial posting. And there was only one useable pool cue to play pool. Otherwise, everything else was great! We hope to return next year

Hi Rebecca, sorry your holiday wasn’t what you hoped for. The video game machines were stolen and I couldn’t afford to replace them. That is why they were removed from the listing. The pool cues are frequently broken by guests so I left the repair kit on the table next to the pool table. Regardless, we are very sorry to hear about your disappointment and will use your review to consider what we will do moving forward. Very much appreciated and, again, very sorry for your stay.

Perfect Cottage “Home away from Home”

We were so thrilled to stay at Catchacoma! The property had everything we needed for an off-season week away. We wish we could have stayed longer! Plenty to do for three teenage boys - pool, dvds, games, funny glasses, karaoke & old music, the decor and of course the hot tub! The kitchen was more than stocked with anything we could have needed. Can’t wait to return in warmer weather so we can take advantage of the deck, the dock and the most beautiful lake. We walked to the food truck for poutine and fishχps, enjoyed long walks along the backroads and trails & grabbed firewood from a house just up the road. Everyone had their own place to sleep - the beds were so comfortable, the view was 10 star, and our hosts were gracious and so easy to communicate with. We loved it!!

Pandemic Christmas getaway

Jay and Sue answered any questions within hours of posting. Its a cute, eclectic viceroy . Beds are comfortable. Very quiet location. The neighbours dog Samantha is very friendly. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, dart board and Netflix. Lots of space for a family of 4 to enjoy an isolation Christmas. The only negative is the power board for the hot tub. You need to keep an eye that the fuse doesnt blow. The owners assured me that it is being looked into. I would love to see this place in the summer. Thank you for the Christmas vacation experience

Thank you for your review. We will have an electrician look at the hot tub outlet. It should be noted that our electrical panel is updated and we don’t have fuses. We have a more modern panel with breakers: not the old fuse style. We will have the hot tub power looked at. Thank you for your comments and input which we appreciate in order for continuous improvement of our property.

3rd stay at this location on lively Lake Catchacoma

Beautiful view, very workable kitchen with a dishwasher. There are 3 very comfortable beds and bedrooms, a wonderful large bathroom on the main floor, with a good shower, and a half bath in the basement. These features are very appreciated. The deck is great with lovely views and Lake Catchacoma is clean and very nice for swimming. There are a few drawbacks though certainly not many. It would be easier to access the water if there were a ladder. It is a little tricky manoeuvring between the rocks to walk in from the shore. The living room furniture needs replacing - couch and chair are really old and very uncomfortable. If you like kayaking, there is only one good one - so it is solo. The other has no backrest, so it is not an option This is our 3rd year and we always enjoy are stay though. We are coming back again this summer. It is fun visiting the nearby town of Bobcageon - Bigleys store is always a treat, best shoe store ever. The neighbours on each side of the cottage are so nice. It is always a pleasure to chat with them. We love the sunrise from the dock and the beautiful loons. This year we saw a mother and 2 babies. If you are able to rent a boat, Catchacoma is attached to 5 lakes. We were fortunate to be given a tour by boat. The rock formations throughout all are stunning.
