Lovely Tranquil Getaway

Lovely , Spacious Home with a large deck with an amazing Mountain View. We relaxed listening to birds chirping and watching the deer stroll by while grilling dinner on the deck each evening. Definitely feel rejuvenated after a week at Joe’s Mountain Retreat.

The property was lovely and the surroundings were peaceful. The only issue we had was with the TV. We could not access local channels. Otherwise we would highly recommend this property to other vacationers.

Wonderful

This is the first time I’ve ever used Vrbo to book a vacation. It was the best thing ever, communication was great. The house was outstanding inside and outside, the kids absolutely loved the foos ball table. We even left something behind and the house keeper was willing to ship them to us. I would totally do it again.

Very nice stay

My wife and I enjoyed this vacation home. It is very clean and in a great location. The only issue I had was with the tv. We are use to cable and we had a hard time with all the streaming channels. We would stay here again.

Great mountain retreat

Nicely appointed place in a peaceful development up in the mountains. Under 20 minute drive to a variety of stores and restaurants. Excellent internet speeds and nice entertainment setup with good selection of streaming services prepaid. For dog owners: the garbage policy is slightly inconvenient so you'll need to be prepared for many short drives to the compactor with your poop bags (5 min round trip).

Great place to stay and beautiful views

House was clean and comfortable. The location is close to all the restaurants and great for accommodating the Camelback parks. Our kids had a great time and so did our litle dog. The house is Close to the outlets and It was nice to have the quietness and beauty of the land. Very happy and pleased and I would definitly stay at Joe's Mountain Retreat again!

Great time, exceptional location

Had a great time with my family here! The communication was excellent and the house is really nice and comfortable and so close to the slopes. We loved everything about our stay. Can’t wait to do this again.

Relaxing family trip

Townhouse is in a great neighborhood and close to everything. Price was perfect for the amenities. MUST bring a laundry basket if you plan on doing laundry. It was a little hard to get dirty/clean clothes up and down 2 flights of stairs, as laundry is on the basement level. Other than that, it was perfect for my kids and the place is dog friendly.

Bright & spacious Pocono getaway

A lovely, bright, spacious getaway home in the Poconos. Booking and check-in were super-easy. Communication with the owners was excellent. A bit of spackle, a can of paint, a few handyman repairs, and better stocking of the kitchen and amenities would take this property from 4 stars to 5.

clean and well-maintained vacation home

Joe's mountain retreat is very clean, freshly renovated. Location is great. Outdoor terrace is very spacious and has good view. We watched deer grazing on the lawn from the terrace a couple of times. We are looking forward to coming back.

I fell in love with the Poconos during my first visit in 2016. I'm very excited to now own a home there and be able to share that experience with others! I'm also thrilled to be able to work with my sister Lisa in hosting this property.
