Great place to stay

My family really enjoyed our stay . Great little swim area for younger kids. Plenty of space in the house.very good AC. Outdoor kitchen area was great.

Relax to the max

Comfy furniture inside. Excellent view. However, there are stickers in the yard and I wish the kitchen was a little better stocked. Overall, great property; would book again.

Awesome!

Had a wonderful time. House was clean, confortable, and relaxing. The bar/patio was a great spot to hangout relax and bbq with friends and family. Tons of space inside and out, kids ran around the huge backyard for hours!

We definitely enjoyed our stay! However, a few things could be addressed before guests check in. The yard is FULL of stickers so the kids couldn't play out there much, and each time we walked to and from the dock our shoes were full of them. Hard not to track them inside. Also, the dock was covered in spider webs. It would've been nice if those were knocked down prior to arrival. Other than those things though, the beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting on the back patio with the lake view! Sunsets were beautiful!

Great view

The location and view were awesome. We loved the detached bar, dock and outdoor fireplace! Well stocked and loved all the board games. The main complaint is how dirty the house was. Built up dust on the ceiling fans, cobwebs in the corners and cervices of the house. It needs a deep cleaning. Guest room Toilet ran constantly, and handle was broken when we got there, we had to continue to fix it to use it. The front screen door was broken also. Had a great stay and enjoyed the house, just needs a good cleaning and some maintenance.

Had difficulty with front door lock mechanism. Manager responded fairly quickly and on our second lock out came and replaced batteries in lock. House is very nice and fit our family of 9 easily. House needs a good cleaning. Gas grill not working well, had to finish meal on stove top. Front outside door could not be closed easily, outside door handle hits inside door handle. It’s a very nice property on the lake, comfortable. I would stay again, just be aware of above items.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they would like to share the following: -Regarding the electric keypad issue, upon our inspection, we found it to be functioning correctly. It is possible that the difficulty experienced was due to a user error, but we have replaced the batteries as a proactive measure to ensure optimal performance. -As for the comment about the house requiring cleaning, we wish to clarify that the property undergoes professional cleaning after each guest's stay. To address this concern effectively, we kindly request more specific details from you. -We regretted learning about the issue with the stainless steel appliance, which is only two months old. We are currently in the process of returning it for a replacement. -Concerning the storm door, we would like to clarify that it is an integral part of the door frame, and its current state has remained consistent over time. Thank you for choosing us for your stay, and we look forward to the opportunity to enhance your experience in the future.

Nice but needs work

Property does not currently have a dock - it is only a pier. Dock has been purchased and is temporarily attached to the pier - unable to safely or easily secure boat (bad winds jeopardized security of dock). Dishwasher not functioning. No water pressure in primary bath. Trash from previous occupants left under carport. Able to work around these areas - but would improve experience if addressed. Family had a good vacation and made wonderful memories.

After sending your feedback to the owner, they’d like to share the following: - Thank you for your feedback. We have replaced the dishwasher with a fully functioning unit. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. - We added the boat dock to enhance the overall guest experience. However, due to low lake levels at the time of purchase, it was temporarily tied to our pier. Now that the lake has risen, we have successfully installed the new dock for our guests to dock their boats and enjoy. - We have investigated your concerns related to the garbage and water pressure and found that the water pressure is adequate. The garbage is picked up every Monday, and sometimes this means that the bins in the carport may have some garbage awaiting the pickup date. Thanks for letting us know about your stay!

Comfortable home!

Comfortable home with great backyard. Hate that the weather was yucky while we were there. I would have loved to have spent more time enjoying the fire pit/ and back porch.

Labor Day Getaway

Took our whole family, grown children and grandkids, had a really good time. The only thing was the property had a lot of fire ants in the yard and we had small children! But it was a good weekend! Location was great!

Great Lake House for a fun get away

We enjoyed our stay at the Lake House. It was our first time to the area, but we found the information provided by the owner on where to eat and rent boats very helpful. While there were some water toys and two kayaks in the shed on the property, we could only find one paddle for the kayaks and no safety vests. This did not not cause much of an issue for us since we and our kids are good swimmers and the water was calm and shallow in that area. It was great to be able to walk right into the lake and have fun! We also were able to rent a boat and vests at the local marina suggested by the owner and had a wonderful time out in the middle of the lake for several hours. We went during the week - it was very peaceful and we basically had the whole lake to ourselves. Thanks for a fun and easy family get away!

Great stay at PK!

Nice property, the house was comfortable for the six of us. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the back porch, beach and dock. Great place to float and swim with a gently sloping, sandy lake bottom. The outdoor kitchen and Tikki bar was fun place to hang out.

Nice lake access. Needs new towels. Kitchen drawer’s would be nicer with some drawer liners. Need to provide fly swatters. Microwave needs a different Cuircut than the lights.

The Perfect Place to Hang Out

Each year our group of 10 gets together to hang out for a weekend. This house was perfect. The beds were comfortable. The outside seating was fantastic. It was nice to sit on the dock and watch the sunset. We would definitely stay here again.
