Lake Lure Thanksgiving

The entire family thoroughly enjoyed this holiday at this property. It was nice and private, yet convenient to local businesses and shopping. The property manager was very responsive to any inquiries and very professional. I highly recommend this property.

Very relaxing!

This property accommodated my family of 5 and our dog. The house was relaxing and very spacious! The game room was a life saver when it rained all day on us!

Amazing!

My family and I met here for our annual vacation. We had a blast! The proximity to the lake was phenomenal. The home itself was clean, perfect temp, great games and amenities, and a stocked kitchen except for our food. I am looking forward to renting again!!!

Nice location. House is very good but needs some work on the lower levels. Drive way very difficult to back out.

Relaxing Family Time!

We enjoyed family time together with our three grown "kids". While we had some outdoor fun at the Rumbling Bald pool, tubing the Green River, and a Lake Lure boat tour....what they kept saying was how nice and comforting the house was to just hang out together! We enjoyed game time, hottub time, and some movies. "Off the Clock" was spotlessly clean and outfitted with everything you need in the kitchen. The new decking is sturdy (I read one review prior to booking that said it was rickety) and this vacation home is well taken care of!

Off the clock VRBO

We liked the area and the management team was great to work with during our stay. The property needs to be updated , we had boards coming up when we walked to front door , back deck has been neglected needs painted and we were worried about heavy hot tub on it . Carpet downstairs has multiple stains and bathroom down needs a good cleaning . We won’t be coming back to this property because we felt it was overpriced for the condition of the home. We did enjoy the Rumbling Bald resort .

Off The Clock

Everything was great except telephone reception and transmitting. Also we found the televisions difficult to operate with very little instruction.

We had a great stay at Off the Clock. We enjoyed the closeness to all the amenities at Rumbling Bald and Lake Lure. The stairs were a challenge for our older pups but we managed. The hot tub was great for relaxing in the evening.

When we walked in, the first thing that struck me was the gleaming floors and how clean the house was. Everything was perfect! I was also pleasantly surprised that the ice maker was on in the freezer. Every other house we have rented either had it off or it didn't work. We also had use of the resort's amenities, which was nice. The bed was SO COMFORTABLE!! I almost forgot where I was the first night!The only thing I could think of that could use improvement was a fan is needed in the game room downstairs. It can get pretty warm down there if there is no breeze. The screened porch could use some attention as well, but it's not bad at all. We loved our stay and hope we can come back very soon!

Beautiful Property

This is a beautiful property! The house feels huge and would be fun to share with friends or family. Roads aren’t hard to drive through to get here. Tons of blankets, games and TVs in every room to keep you busy in the house. Kitchen is well equipped (I would suggest the purchase of serving dishes for those who plan to stay in and cook). Beds were comfortable and linens are nice! Please note: COVID requires that guests make reservations for use of indoor pool/hot tub and gum! We went on a busy weekend and didn’t know that reservations were necessary. We missed out on that amenity, as only 6 people are allowed in the indoor pool at a time!!
