♡ "Bedrooms and private baths on 4 different floors" — Frances, Jan '25
» 12min ➔ Beaver Creek » 20min ➔ Vail » Walk ➔ EagleVail golf + tennis
The Space:
The Eagle's Nest is a multi-level EagleVail townhome built for groups that want togetherness without sharing a bathroom — all four bedrooms are en-suite, spread across four floors.
➔ Bedroom 1 — King bed, en-suite bath, smart TV with Netflix.
➔ Bedroom 2 — King bed, en-suite bath.
➔ Bedroom 3 — Queen bed, en-suite bath.
➔ Bedroom 4 — Bunk with a queen bottom + twin top, en-suite bath, plus a desk.
➔ Living Room — Fireplace, sectional, smart TV, opening to a mountain-view balcony.
➔ Outside — Balcony, gas grill, 2-car garage plus dedicated spots.
➔ Family-ready — Pack 'n Play, high chair, kids' books and toys (the home is not fully childproofed).
3 PROS:
1. Four en-suite bedrooms — every couple gets a private bath
2. 12 minutes to Beaver Creek, 20 to Vail, garage parking
3. Walk to EagleVail golf, tennis, and pickleball in summer
2 CONS:
1. Heat runs uneven across the floors — cooler at bottom, warmer at top
2. With 9 guests, hot water is shared — stagger showers after a ski day
Guest Access:
The entire townhome is yours — all four floors, the garage, and the balcony. Self check-in by keypad, with a 2-car garage plus dedicated uncovered parking.
Before arrival you'll receive an email link to our digital guidebook — it's the only place check-in details live, so please open it before you travel.
The Neighborhood:
You're in EagleVail, the quieter valley between Avon and Vail, with mountain views and quick access to two world-class resorts without resort-village prices.
From the door:
- Beaver Creek (about 12 min) and Vail (about 20 min) for skiing and riding
- The EagleVail golf course, tennis, pickleball, and a community pool — walkable in summer
- Avon's restaurants, grocery, and Nottingham Lake (about 5 min)
- Eagle County Airport about 30 minutes west for an easy fly-in trip
Getting Around:
Most guests get the most out of EagleVail with a car — you have a 2-car garage plus dedicated spots, and free parking makes day trips to Vail and Beaver Creek easy. The free ECO Transit and resort shuttles run through the valley if you'd rather not drive on a powder day.
Other Things to Note:
This is a multi-level mountain townhome. A few honest notes so your stay goes smoothly:
- Heat runs unevenly across the four floors — cooler at the bottom, warmer at the top. Adjust the per-level thermostats and crack a window up top if needed.
- With a full house of 9, hot water is shared. After a ski day, stagger back-to-back showers so everyone gets hot water.
- Family gear is provided (Pack 'n Play, high chair, toys), but the home is not fully childproofed.
- No A/C — the mountain climate rarely needs it.
- Not pet friendly.
- Self check-in details and any add-on services come through the Traverse digital guidebook link emailed before arrival.

We stayed for a ski trip to Vail. Property is only 10 min away. With only 4people, there was plenty of room. Kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea & hot chocolate. We would definitely condider staying again

Thank you for your kind review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay and that the kitchen was well-stocked for your ski trip. We'd love to host you again next time you're in Vail!
This was a great place for our family to stay! It was in a great location and short drive to Beaver Creek resort. The house was extremely clean, well stocked and decorated perfectly. We would definitely not hesitate to stay here again. If you have a problem climbing stairs would be the only reason not to stay here otherwise it’s perfect. We had a wonderful time.

Great location between Beaver Creek and Vail. Plenty of room and well appointed. Kitchen was well equipped and the very comfortable. Only critique is that there were a few items that needed attention. Overall stay was excellent and we would certainly there again.

This home is lovely. Newly updated. The owners have meticulously and lovingly thought of every conceivable detail to make this home comfortable and homey. They thought of everything! One tip, don’t shop before you go because the owners have a lot of items (soaps, shampoo, cleaner, spices, oils, etc) already covered. We will definitely rent here again.
The place was impeccably clean and well stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, and kitchen supplies. Plenty of towels, trash bags, and laundry soap.
However, The gas grill didn’t work, no instructions for the television, and no national television networks… Tiny bathrooms, and no full length mirror anywhere in the house….

Hi Paul,
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you thought the home was clean and well stocked! We do really apologize for the inconvenience with the gas grill not working well during your stay. We did pay you back for purchasing a new grill while you were there. Your comment about the absence of a full-length mirror has been noted for future improvements. Thank you again for sharing your experience.
We wanted to love the place, but it ended up being an okay place. A few minor hiccups; water dripped from LR ceiling when master bath was used, and dishwasher leaked when used the first time…. They were quick to respond, but some issues could not be resolved during our stay. They told us the plumber said there was nothing wrong with the master bathroom, and to make sure to close the shower curtain thoroughly during use. However, we were scared to use the master bath since the ceiling leak did not look like a shower curtain was not fully closed. Dishwasher was leaking and they couldn’t get anyone there to check until the day we checked out. There was lots of hand dishwashing! The location was perfect. We were skiing and boarding at Beavercreek and Vail. We were able to go to both in no time. Besides the little issues we had, we liked that the place. This place was stocked with essentials and there was a spot where we could leave unopened food like pasta noodles, rice, and other things for the next renters. They had many seasonings, pots, utensils, kitchen essential, and toiletries. This made us feel at home. I would recommend this place again as long as they get those issues fixed. Overall, family had a great time!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're glad to hear that you found our location convenient for skiing and that our property provided you with many of the essential amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We apologize for the issues you experienced with the water leak and dishwasher and for any inconvenience they may have caused. We did advise that it was ok to use the shower after the plumber did the inspection. The owner did repair the grout work in the bathroom to be on the safe side and the ceiling was also repaired. As for the dishwasher, the cleaner used it after your stay and there were no issues with it. Overall we are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope for you to visit in the future.
I give this location one star for two reasons: 1) the space is nicely laid out, even if very small and 2) it seems like it would be very child friendly due to all the duct tape holding things together and the scratched, dented, and worn furniture. From dirty dishes that were put away in the cabinets to standing in water when showering because of clogged drains, and a myriad of things in between, this listing is anything but luxury. At least we had video and photographic evidence of the three most egregious issues: only two of the four levels had working lights, the one smoke detector was wrapped in a plastic bag hanging by its wires from the ceiling, and the main bedroom had a broken bed. Another reviewer mentioned water damage; the damage is still evident, and the sheet rock repair was poorly done with pieces hanging in the kitchen. We tried to discuss in good faith with the management company. They were friendly to begin with. They tried to blame the lighting issue on a thrown breaker, which we had already checked, and then they lost interest in the other concerns. They issued a 50% refund in accommodation fees, which makes sense since only two of the four levels were usable. When I pushed back on the exorbitant host and service fees, they refused to discuss it further or give me the name of a direct supervisor. Due to the number of issues and the fact that none of the issues were unforeseen, I cannot in good conscious recommend this listing.

Hi Tricia,
Thank you for your review. We'd like to provide a response to some of your claims. First of all, this is a beautiful, luxury property in the heart of Avon, with fantastic amenities and a superb location that cannot be beat. We have an 'excellent' rating on VRBO for a reason. We do not get complaints about functionality, and we hold a 9.4/10 rating for cleanliness. The lighting issue you had during your stay was a breaker issue. One flip of the breaker and all the lights worked without issue. The smoke detector that you saw hanging from a wire was still completely functional. We put it back in the ceiling and tightened the screw. The water damage you mention is extremely minor wear and tear - there are no active water leaks anywhere at this house. We also hold a 9/10 rating for our management team's communication as they are prompt and great with dealing with guest issues when they come up. Although we are sympathetic to your personal experience here, it is not a reflection of most experiences that this home has provided and continues to provide.
Great condo with a all 4 bedrooms having en suite bathrooms plus an additional bathroom on the kitchen/family room floor. Condo was clean and functional. Garage is a nice bonus vs. cleaning off the foot of powder we got. Grill on deck was in good working order and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils/pots/pans/glasses etc. Outside of staying directly in Vail village, the location is very convient to skiing Vail (and Beaver Creek though we didn't).

Hi Jeffrey, thank you for the time to leave a review. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.
We absolutely loved this property. It seems to have renovated recently. Great thing was the whole house had hardwood floors and the couch was leather couch. Not having carpet means no hidden dust! Everything thing has been thought so well, stocked up pantry, shampoo etc. truly loved the place. I'm from Seattle so might not be in the area again but if I plan again, I'll choose this property. Thanks so much to the owner for maintaining it well!!
