Has llegado a El Cerro, el refugio sentado en la colina que domina el pueblo de Esperanza. Este es un retiro de propiedad privada con vistas al mar Caribe. Con tres casas separadas en 30 acres, es el alojamiento perfecto para cualquier grupo y un lugar impresionante para cualquier evento.

El Cerro es una soledad privada propia, completamente cercada y cerrada electrónicamente. Toda la propiedad es suya para recorrer y descubrir. Desde nuestro huerto en el frente hasta las docenas de árboles alrededor de la propiedad, tendrá mucho que ver, oler y saborear. ¡Ven en verano y te ahogaras en mangos!

Camine hasta la ciudad y la playa o quédese en la finca y descanse en su piscina privada compartida por tres hermosas casas, todas con comodidades únicas y vistas espectaculares. Maravillosamente ajardinado y mantenido, podrá disfrutar de la lujosa renovación de este encantador destino de vacaciones.

La propiedad duerme 16 en camas, 5 en sofás cama. Cunas también están disponibles. El número máximo de invitados es 21. No fumar en las casas, no hay grupos de estudiantes de 25 años o menos. Cuando alquila esta propiedad, alquila toda la instalación. Un cuidador a tiempo completo se encuentra en la parte trasera de la propiedad para que los huéspedes nunca sientan que su privacidad está invadida, pero la ayuda estará cerca si se necesita al cuidador.

Excellent property for large group

Perfect for our group of 15. Would stay there again. Hosts are great and very responsive for all of our needs.We visit Vieques every few years and love our time there.

fabulous family trip

we loved our stay at the beautiful location and home. The hosts were responsive to all our questions and everything was just perfect! (although be forewarned that once you are done with the toilet paper provided you are on your own!!!) It was like a dream to wake up to that beautiful view every day. All the beds were comfortable and we loved having a washer dryer available to wash up the beach towels. for a lovely relaxing vacation I highly recommend El Cerro for your stay.

Beautiful!

I just got home from a work retreat I hosted there with my work team of 10 people. The property is truly amazing. There are wild horses, pigs and chickens nearby. And, our new fur friends who reside on the property. They hung out with us most of the time and were a pleasure. The homes provided all we needed to cook and had plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. There were lots of pool and beach items provided and this was a plus. The owners went above beyond to make sure we had what we needed. They were super responsive and friendly. Awesome recommendation to Caracas beach which is nearby. I would recommend a Jeep if renting a vehicle as the property is rustic, but charming. You will need wheels to get around the property and the surrounding area. Overall, we had a blast and will miss the breeze and beauty that El Cerro offered. Thanks Sommer and Scott!

AMAZING PROPERTY FOR MY DAUGHTER'S WEDDING

This property was outstanding it housed all 19 of us comfortably. The 3 houses were special and my family was extremely comfortable. The property managers Sommer and Steve were unbelievable they looked out for us in so many ways. Any issue we had was remedied quickly. Pool House was amazing partied for the whole time we were there. We had a few fresh Mangoes on the property. The Big Day was beautiful no issues a Great Wedding Day. I recommend this property to anyone with a large group. We only had one issue with the island, make sure you take the time to grab as much food as you can on the main island if you're on an extended stay, Prices were really high. All in all it was an awesome experience thanks again to Sommer and Steve Amazing Hosts. 💯💯💯

El Cerro is amazing

This is a gem of a property on the island. We went in May so the grounds weren’t quite green however this did not take away from the beautiful views especially from the rock house. The property has three houses all of which have their own character. We were able to house our whole family there for our wedding which was help at Encantada. The pool is great and the property dog is the most friendly dog you will every meet. She joined us everywhere on the island. El cerro gives a very at home feel. I would recommend getting a few golf carts to get around as the grounds are quite large however it is only a 5 min ride into town and into the beach. We definitely plan on coming back for our anniversary in the future.

Perfect Vieques property for large groups

Nothing disappoints at El Cerro - the houses are wonderful, large and offer amazing views. The property is huge and private but close to the market and dining. The caretakers are awesome and you'll fall in love with Blue Bell the dog. For a large group El Cerro has everything!

Christmas on Vieques Island

Our family found Island residents to be friendly and welcoming. Attentive on-sight staff. This property is lovely and the views are exceptional exceptional. You can experience both sunrise and sunset from the Rock House. The Pool House was our gathering place both for mornings and after a day of exploring. Fantastic seating and kitchen in the Main house. We’ll be back!

Amazing views, beautiful property

The views and the fruit trees were incredible. We ate so many mangoes. The breezes kept the houses comfortable. Well appointed kitchens with everything you need to cook.

Best spot in the Caribbean

My 4th stay at El Cero and it just keeps getting better and better. Perfect spot for large gatherings of friends and family; lots of room to spread out! Great pool with an amazing view. Close to restaurants and beach.

Beautiful location - perfect for groups

We stayed at El Cerro with 20 of our closest friends and family. We also had a wedding ceremony and reception on the grounds. The property is gorgeous. The houses are nicer than the pictures convey. The location is great relative to everything on the island. Lastly Kaytie and Christian were amazing - communicative and attentive. Everyone loved their time there - we can’t wait to go back!

Perfect for a wedding venue and family reunion

We had an unforgettable time at El Cerro. Our wedding celebration included 60 guests and the space by the main house was perfect. They offered all that we needed for the week stay at EL Cerro including beach towels and toys. Our group had 11 children staying at the finca and all had a blast at the pool or running around outdoors. Katie and Chrstian were very attentive and communicative. There were some minor situations that they had to assist us with, that were taken care of immediately. We definitively appreciate their responsiveness. No doubt this is the best property in Vieques if you are traveling with a large group. We would love to repeat our visit to EL Cerro in the near future.

Such a beautiful property! With everything you need for a great stay in Vieques. We had a big group with lots of children ages 4 mos- 9 years and everyone in our group had such a great time. Kaytie and Christian are very attentive and wonderful hosts. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip!

Best New Year's Family Trip Ever!!

Best place ever to host a family vacation! We had 16 relatives from ages 92 to 6 months and we were able to accommodate everyone and our amazing staff comfortably for 7 days. I will never be able to describe our stay adequately. It was such a joy to stay here. Everything you need is there to cook and serve everyone in each home. We used the Main House as the hub for everything. We lounged at either the bar patio, the front patio, or in the TV room (yes they have TV service there so you won't miss any games :-) ). We did Yoga, had lunch, and swam at the pool where there is a BBQ grill, pool toys and floats. The pool was nice (a little cold but it was January). There is also a sauna there, we didn't use it though but looks nice. If you have a little business to take care of, a printer and desk are available at the Main House along with wifi that works all over the property. Our T-Mobile service was great everywhere except the pool house but, the wifi kept us in communication with them. If you little ones, Katie has made sure you are able to accommodate them in all the houses with Pack & Plays so you don't have to lug them on the plane. We had no power issues at all, none! The last day we were there the power went down for about 30 min but the generators kicked on right away so we didn't skip a beat. (One and only time the whole trip). And don't worry about not having A/C at the Main house and the Rock house, you don't need it. There is a constant breeze that is just wonderful. Having the ceiling fans and floor fans (if you need them) in every room, staying cool was never an issue for anyone. The Pool house is at the lowest part of the property so the breeze is not as strong therefore the A/C helps . The property is such that you never want to leave. You could not ask for a more amazing view anytime of day. There is something to do for everyone in Vieques and this is the perfect place to be close enough to town but easily retreat for some peace from the tourist areas. Christian & Katie are amazing property managers. The homes are clean and well supplied. The grounds are immaculate and just beautiful. They and their family are just precious. I cannot thank the family that owns this beautiful estate enough for opening it up for others to enjoy. Their father's vision of paradise is just that. And what he built was just awesome. It truly is that wonderful. I can't wait to go back!

Perfect Property for our wedding weekend

We were looking for a property in Vieques that would house a large group for our wedding party and found El Cerro on VRBO. While vacationing on the island I contacted the property manager to see if we could tour the property before making our decision. Christian was very accommodating and we were able to do a tour right away. It was perfect for our needs. After having to postpone our January wedding due to Hurricane Maria, we were able to reschedule everything for June. It was great to be back on the island and see it welcome back tourists. Christian and Kaytie are wonderful hosts. Not only are they the nicest but they were there when we needed them but also left us alone for us to enjoy our time. They live on the backside of the property so are easily accessible for any needs. With 3 houses, El Cerro was able to accommodate all 20 of us. We were all able to have our privacy but also were able to congregate at any of the 3 places. We especially used the Main house with its large kitchen and gathering areas. We were also able to do our day after wedding pig roast at the Pool House with all of our 50 guests. I would recommend to rent at least 1 golf cart to travel between houses and then you can also use it to go around the island. The walk isn't bad between the houses but can be a lot when doing it multiple times a day. El Cerro provides all towels and linens along with beach chairs, beach towels, coolers and there was even some sunscreen in the cabinets. It pretty much has everything you need. The location is great. It is right above the Malecon and the Green Store is at the bottom of the street. So if you had to, you can walk to get necessities, to the beach, and to the restaurants and bars. El Cerro is an absolutely amazing property. The lodging is terrific, the amenities are great, and the view is phenomenal. I'm just sad that you have to rent the whole property and not just one of the houses so we can stay there every time we get to the island. I would sit on one of the verandas of the Main House or Rock House to enjoy the breeze and look at the view all day...every day...wishful thinking.
