Enjoy the Sandbanks Beach from the comfort of our newly renovated and fully equipped family friendly retreat. With all the comforts of home, you can fully relax and enjoy your family vacation. Three bedrooms with linens provided, two full bathrooms, a powder room, a spacious livingroom and a rec room. A large deck overlooking your private 1 acre backyard with a swing set, sandbox, hammock, garden and rustic firepit awaits you. Just a 10 minute drive to the Sandbanks beach and Picton and Bloomfield for supplies and boutique shopping. Wineries scatter the countryside at the newly opened Slake Brewery, is within walking distance.

Fantastic location with lots of space - both inside and out. Full kitchen with bbq and outdoor dining made for enjoyable family meals. Passes to the Sandbanks were a nice extra.

Lovely home for a long weekend

We stayed at Beth’s property for a long weekend for a family wedding. The property was really nice and Beth is a great host. Would definitely stay here again!highly recommend :)

We stayed here for my sisters bachelorette weekend and the house was spacious and well stocked. The area is close to the wineries and lots of restaurants in the area !

Perfect place for family gatherings

The place is clean and the property manager is very quick in responding to any questions. The only thing that I noticed is the shower area in the basement that there’s no door.

Picton/ Sandbanks country property

Beautiful house on an acre of land very close to the sandbanks and Picton. Ideal for families with children. Everything for small children supplied and thought of. Great location near town but out of the way for a country experience. We loved our visit.

Overall pleasant stay (3.5 stars)

In terms of space and beds, you couldn’t ask for better. A crib to accommodate my daughter and enough beds for 4 adults and 2 young kids. The location is excellent, 5 minutes from Picton and 10 min from the beach. The backyard was very big and he grass was short for the kids to play. Often in life it’s the small things that count and with a little more attention and care, this vacation rental could be a 5 stars. The towels and sheets were old, stained and in some cases ripped. The carpet on the stairs going down are so disgusting that it instantaneously turns you off. The cleaning fees are very modest, I would have preferred to pay more to stay in a spotless home. When cleaning, nothing was moved, jam under the toaster, a thick coat of dust under the couches, my wife was not pleased and consequently never felt comfortable. The owner is very kind and welcoming. I would recommend that she updates certain instructions to ensure people know how to lock and unlock the door and provide the proper code upon arrival.

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans cette maison de Picton. Elle est très bien équipée pour une famille, avec une cuisine complète, un bbq, plusieurs lits et salles de bain, des jouets à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur. Beth nous a très bien accueillis, prenant le temps de répondre à toutes nos questions et demeurant disponible durant la semaine lorsque nous avions besoin de quelque chose. Je recommande cette maison pour de vacances en famille simples et agréables! We had a lovely week! This Picton house is fully equiped for family vacations, with a full kitchen, bbq, Manu beds and bathrooms/restrooms, toys inside and outside. Beth was really helpful, answering our questions and remaining available if we needed anything during the week. I recommand this house for simple and fun family vacations!

Great host, great house!

It was a great place for our vacation! The location is perfect, just 10 minutes from the beach and about the same to refill the fridge at Picton (grocery shopping). The kitchen is well equipped and the rooms were great (confortable and nice). It was nice to have a pergola over the deck for a quick apéro after the beach. The host provided a lot of information before our trip so it made it easy to plan and make the reservation at the park. We were six adults (50+) and we had an amazing time in Sandbanks thanks to Beth! We definitely recommend!

Nous avons beaucoup aimé la maison. Il y avait de la place pour tous et les enfants avaient tout le sous-sol pour eux. C'était aussi très central, et dans un secteur très calme. Merci Beth!

Fun Family Place!

We enjoyed a long weekend together with our young adult children; there was enough space and a big beautiful backyard for hanging out! Kitchen fully stocked, comfortable living room and big driveway for several cars. Thanks for the stay! Great communication with the host and she came quickly when there was an issue.

Endroit par excellence avec des enfants en bas âge

Près des plages de sandbanks, l’endroit est parfait pour accueillir une famille avec des enfants en bas âge. Notre hôte avait prévu couchette, table à langer, chaises d’appoint, jouets, etc. Le terrain est immense et permet aux enfants de jouer dans un carré de sable et balançoires. Il ne manquait absolument rien en terme de commodité dans la maison. Nous avons eu un très agréable séjour.

Great weekend away

We were a group of 5 and we stayed at Beth’s place over the long weekend in May. Everything was great. It is a beautiful property with tones of amenities. Beth came to check on us and make sure we were settled in and asked if we needed anything. Highly recommend!

Perfect All Season Cottage

Our family stayed at Beth's place over the holiday break and we have nothing but positive things to say! Beth was extremely accommodating and so friendly. We had everything we needed to have a great and much needed getaway. The kids especially loved the downstairs play area and the outdoor space out back. Wonderful family retreat

We had a fantastic time at Beth's Sandbanks Retreat. The house is really well located and was a great central point for all of our Sandbanks adventures. It is well equipped and allowed us to enjoy our time indoors and outdoors. Beth is a fantastic host - really friendly and responsive, and close-by to help address any needs. The only downside was that the house could have been slightly cleaner - some stains on carpet, sticky floors. Overall, though, it was a fantastic place and we'd recommend it without hesitation!
