The house was beautiful and spacious for our girls weekend. The views were spectacular and it was close to all of the activities we wanted to do. The propane tank was empty so we weren't able to utilize the BBQ. Other than that, absolutely perfect stay!!

Fabulous Waldport beach home

This was a delightful home with gorgeous bay and ocean views. Added bonus of fluffy robes to use while sitting in our bedroom watching eagles and seals!Will definitely stay here again- great location to base from for local adventures.

Amazing views, especially the 2nd and 3rd floor bedrooms! So fun to watch the seals and bald eagles too. Crystal and Myrna were both great to work with. Kitchen is stocked well too. Beach was beautiful and fun to explore. You can walk along at steps by Jellybeans ice cream (highly recommend) or 10ish houses down from this there is a path ‘at your own risk’ paved mostly with a rope to hold, which we thought most anyone can easily walk down.

Beautiful place

The home is very well decorated. The views of both the Alsea River and Pacific Ocean were spectacular. Enjoyed watching the boats, crabbers and harbor seals. Would definitely stay here again!

5day getaway

Very easy access to Yachats and Newport as well as Waldport. House is very well equipped and comfortable. The views of the sea and the bay are amazing from many spots in the house. Very quiet neighborhood. Hate to leave but will definitely come back

The perfect place to enjoy the Oregon Coast!

What a wonderful location. Large comfortable home to share with good friends. Getting to the beach was difficult but what a treat. Eagles in the tree outside and seals playing in the water added to the experience.

Great nature sightings

Loved watching the sea lions and pelicans, and “our” eagle even landed in the trees outside our windows. Great restaurant within one minute’s walk around the corner. Wonderful visit with time to connect with family and walk along beach.

Holiday trip

The views are amazing. Watch in the trees for the eagles fishing. Nice property. We were a bit surprised that there weren't two enclosed bedrooms but we made it work.

Loved the cute house. It was perfect for our family of 4. Kids loved the top lofted bedroom. View and loxation are great. We went to the ocean every day, and got drenched from costal rain every afternoon. It was difficult getting clothes to dry in a house that doesn't offer a dryer.

Amazing view

Beautiful view! The house was clean and comfortable. A couple of little things kept me from giving this house 5 stars: no soap for the showers and no frying pan in the kitchen. For $300+ a night I would have expected those items. Please think about getting window shades for upstairs.

20 year anniversary

Great home. Clean. Beautiful view. Screens on the top floor bedroom would be nice so you can leave the windows open all night. Found a beach access a few houses down not easy but do-able. Plenty of dishes and towels. The robes are a great touch.

Excellent & entertaining views

This is our 2nd stay and it the views are as good as we remembered. There is an eagle that comes every morning to sit in the tree top and seagulls dive bombed it until it left. Last year a bigger eagle stayed all day. The house overlooks the bay & ocean and the tide changes bring lots of birds. The path down to the beach is about 5 houses down and a bit steep. Or you can walk along hwy 1 down the hill to town 1/4 mi. or go 1/2 mile south to Gov. Patterson State Park. The house is well equipped and even has a full spice selection although the kitchen is a bit tight for more than one person. The master bedroom on the 2nd floor is open to the living room. We used the bedcover over the railing for a little more privacy. The media room appears to have a chest with a foldaway bed along with a huge sofa but it is open to the twin room on the 3rd floor. The only bedroom with a door that closes is on the 1st floor. The staircase to the 2nd floor is partially open on one side and the steps are higher than standard with the top step even taller. Pay attention coming down on that tall step. We are used to 16 stairs to our 2nd floor and even still my husband slightly twisted his knee coming down on day 1. We plan on going back again next year.

Foggy, but perfect!

Four of us had a wonderful vacation visit at the property. When we found out our friends were bringing a recently broken foot, we knew we had to change plans, but the home was perfect for our needs. Since the beaches were going to be problematic with one of us hobbled, we stayed close to home, watching crabbers, seals, eagles plus a myriad of other bird species. Though we couldn't use the great room because it was up the stairs, we did find a variety of jigsaw puzzles we put to use. The home had everything we needed. I need to give a special shout out to Lily, our contact. Thanks, once again for the special care you gave me and my family and friends. We hope we can do it again.

Beautiful

We had a very enjoyable stay in this unique home. The home was clean and the view was beautiful! It is in a quiet neighborhood. If traveling with friends, realize there is only one bedroom(downstairs) that has enclosed walls and a door. The other two "bedrooms" are not fully enclosed and do not have doors. Which causes a lack of privacy. Also, there were no blinds in the two upstaires "bedrooms" . No access to a washer and dryer without calling to be let into the garage. This is a beautiful spot and you can see and hear the Harbor Seals every morning, which is so enjoyable!
