It hurts… We do try our best to accommodate our guests and we get such review. Specifically when we read their review in our book full of nice words (I have photo of that review). The difference between two due to the fact we took the security deposit for repairs. That small deposit will not cover even 1/3 of the cost of repairs. But the mood changed and we get this unfair review. The problem is that they have agreed that they damaged the property but felt that they have to strike back for unknown reason. They punched wall in few places and made a dent on the floor. Now I can’t rent property, it has to get fixed first. What was supposed to be quiet family reunion turned into a disappointment. I have no clue what they did but it was not quiet reunion. Burning our lighter we have left for them and beer cans tells the story. We run the hot tub from November to May and we have just made an exception for them. We put fresh water and changed filter. The water was clean and the hot tub was ready to go. When we came we found our hot tub full of leaves, the cover being old but functional before totally broken. So we had to drain hot tub. What a waste! We put for all guest eleven big towels and eleven small towels, and there are three middle ones in the chest of drawers downstairs. In unlikely event we missed a towel we could guide them to get few from the drawer. We did not get any requests. The same with toilet paper. We have left ten(!) rolls in the bathrooms. We believe it is enough for three days. Again, in unlikely event they used them in the storage there is a new 12 roll pack and two loose ones. No one said a word. And the cherry on the top… firewood. There is a stack of firewood. I have brought full minivan (I have photo, it is still there). Instead they started to burn construction wood. Not that it is very expensive but why? I have no clue. So, the bottom line is the review is not fair at all. All the information is not true or not so right. And the reason is the security deposit for very serious damages.
