Welcome to Uptown living with a view! This top floor apartment has two large bright bedrooms (one queen and one double bed), one bath, a private roof top patio, and on site parking for one car. Located in a three story midcentury walk up this apartment has charm, including original fireplace. Coin operated laundry is located onsite, and internet and cable television is included - perfect for working from home or enjoying rest and relaxation. Located within Uptown, the rental is a short walk to the City Market, restaurants, shops, arenas, theatres, or a short drive to all other areas of Saint John including parks and beaches!

Great location, clean and spacious place. There is one bed with a hard mattress and another with a soft one, so that people can choose what they like. Bring earplugs though if you are a light sleeper as the seagulls in the area can be loud at night.

Location and charm

We loved the property, high ceilings and so much character. The hosts have it well stocked and a lovely surprise when we got there. The location is fantastic, within walking distance to everything. If in Saint John again I would definitely stay there.

Great location and space

We had a great stay. Walking distance from everything even in less than ideal weather. Having a parking spot was a plus and the living room has its own door which we took advantage of as an extra bedroom.

Great Place with Amazing Location

The house is well situated, with all major attractions close by including the Saint John City Market (a few blocks away). The living room and bedrooms are very spacious, and the deck is an added bonus. The kitchen is somewhat tight, but well equipped. The owners are super responsive and let us check in earlier and remain later (we had an afternoon flight, and they allowed us to keep our luggage in the apartment). I would definitely stay here again!

Great apartment and location!

My friend and I were in Saint John recently for a book signing event at the 506 Waterfront Container Village. Catherine and Matt were very accessible hosts. Our first night there we arrived late, tired and hungry. Matt was there to greet us and direct us to the apartment and where to park. He recommended Asia's Best Cuisine located right across the street. Had he not recommended it, we probably wouldn't have gone there. But we are so glad we did. We loved the apartment, the rooftop patio, and especially the location. It was an easy walk to shops, restaurants, the City Market, Market Square, and the waterfront. The only downside, for some people, would be the stairs. There are a lot of them!

Loved the Place

Lots of nice touches throughout and very responsive to a couple issues we had. It is a third floor walk up, so stairs could be an issue for some. Enjoyed the rooftop, too. A great place to enjoy St. John and the area.

2 day stay

Stayed at this property for two days mid week on our east coast vacation. Beautiful spot, with plentiful space for all of us in the evening to relax in the living room. Rooftop patio was great to unwind in the evening with a drink. Welcome gifts were a great surprise, along with puzzles and toys for our young children. Would definitely stay again.

Reunion Saint John NB

The hosts were very friendly, professional and accommodating to my every need. My granddaughter also struck a friendly liaison with one of their children. Hop, Skip and Jump to the Saint John City Market, Market Square, Harbour Passage and Area 506 Waterfront Container Village. I had a Reunion on one of the afternoons on my stay and the space was more than efficient to host 25+-. My guests totally enjoyed the VRBO space for socializing, including the roof top patio. Excellent stay in Saint John

In the city for a swim meet, so it was wonderful to have a home away from the pool for three days. Everything was as described, with plenty of room for the four of us. Warm and welcoming, we were all extremely comfortable here. Didn’t get to make use of the deck, unfortunately, but we would happily return when we’re back in Saint John!
