La Jolla Caribe is a magnificent 5-star Caribbean villa for sophisticated travelers. It is located high above Cinnamon Bay on St. John's famed north shore in Estate Catherineberg, surrounded by the Virgin Islands National Park. Enjoy sweeping vistas of the Caribbean Sea, the north shore beaches, the British Virgin Islands, and the Sir Francis Drake Channel from the expansive decks. With six bedrooms, this villa sleeps up to 10 adults and 2 children comfortably accommodating a total of 12, an experience that your family will always remember.

After sustaining major damage in the 2017 hurricanes, La Jolla Caribe is newly rebuilt with a contemporary décor style, the latest technology and of course, the breathtaking view from every one of the six bedrooms. This villa was designed to help you and your loved ones relax, unwind, and enjoy quality time together. Integrating 90 solar panels, 10 Tesla power walls, and a propane generator all with instantaneous switching, if needed, controlled by a Tesla Gateway avoiding power outages at this villa.

The whole house is filtered down to 5 µm and with an ultraviolet light for sterilization. The kitchen drinking water and ice makers have an additional, multi-phase reverse osmosis system for added safety. The seven modern toilets are topped with the latest washlet technology made by Toto. Hands-free hygiene, no paper or scrubbing needed (although paper is available if you desire).

When you are not at any of the stunning white sand beaches on St. John, spend your day by the large pool, dining alfresco from the expansive decks while enjoying the tropical landscaping.

Just 15 minutes from the town of Cruz Bay and 5 minutes to any of the North Shore beaches, La Jolla Caribe is ideal for the perfect Caribbean getaway.

Amazing home!

Wow. Not only do you have the BEST views on the island, but the home is beautiful as well. The kitchen was a dream to cook in! The outside shower was spectacular and the hot tub was the perfect way to end a day at the beach! It was perfection.

Amazing home spectacular views.

This property is one of a kind. We have been coming to ST John for years and this is in our top 3 homes ever rented. The amenities, view, layout and luxury touches were really second to none. We really enjoyed the expansive great room area, well appointed kitchen and multiple outdoor living areas. The views are among the very best the island has to offer. The drive is for families (like ours) who are used to the islands roads but the location is super convenient to the beaches and town as well. We hope to return soon to this stunning home.

All in all, the villa gets an A plus and we would return in a heartbeat.

We have been coming to the island for 15 years and this was the best view we have ever seen. The furnishings were top of the line and modern. The house was spacious and everyone in our group of 10 felt they had their own space and privacy. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the house had everything we could have needed. Being high up, there was always a nice breeze to keep the bugs away. We really enjoyed our stay at La Jolla Caribe and we would return in a heartbeat!

Away From It All - A Week In Paradise

It was truly a week in paradise. Everything was as described, maybe better. The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and well-appointed. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need. And the view. There really are no words to describe the view. The management company was fantastic. Very friendly and professional. Always one step ahead. We would definitely recommend La Jolla Caribe again and again.

We all agree that La Jolla Caribe is our favorite house. We intentionally never stay in the same house twice but would rent this house again if possible!!Loved the views and the tropical breezes! The covered decks gave us the opportunity to enjoy the daily showers without getting wet!The layout of the house was great and gave everyone some personal space.We loved the fact that the solar panels, backup Tesla batteries and additional generator gave us peace of mind that we would NOT lose power.The beds were so comfortable and decor was beautiful.Catered To was very responsive and attentive.We only have one issue. The tile floor can be quite slippery when wet. Be sure to wear your flip flops!Hoping to return one day soon.

A Family Respite

We stayed for a week for a family vacation (my siblings and all of the nieces and nephews, from ages 4-18), and the house had something for everyone. The kids lived in the pool, the teenagers loved the hot tub, the parents couldn't get enough of the cool breezes with serene views. My husband and I also both love to cook, and this had one of the best-appointed kitchens of any home rental we've ever had. From cheese platters to kid's plates - we were covered. It was also an easy five minutes to Cinnamon Beach, and less than 10 to Maho (my personal favorite), which was a huge bonus. We will be back again! We had one small issue with the air conditioner in one of the bedrooms, and they had it fixed in just a couple of hours while we were at the beach for the day. Great service.

Nearly Not a Nit to Pick

It is true that photos don't do it justice.There are few minor inconveniences that potential tenants might desire to know before booking. None of these would inhibit us from immediately booking this home again.First, the ultimate master bedroom is up a flight of stairs. If a large multigenerational family is traveling together, the patriarch/matriarch need to traverse a flight comfortably. This is especially true in light of the fact that the beautiful exterior flooring can become slick in rain, which happens nearly daily in St. John. Stairs and somewhat slick floors require confidence. There is a nearly equal second bedroom on the ground floor eliminating this hassle if people prefer.The most bottom level (pool level) bedroom had a very intricate system of air deodorizer and cleanser. In the Caribbean lower levels of homes almost always have an extremely musty smell. This home fares as well as any we have ever encountered, but the tenants of the bottom-most room will still note just a hint of island must. You can not find a large house with multiple levels in the Caribbean that counters this better than this home.The home was exceptionally well equipped. My spouse is adamant that we will purchase the mattress present in the master and throughout. I enjoyed the gas grill. Everyone enjoyed the kitchen. It was paradise.SMCDes Moines, IA

This was our 4th year coming to St John and the views at La Jolla Caribe were unparalleled. The house is very well decorated and provides many different levels to spread out on. A couple of things to look out for: the tile on all outside flooring is extremely slippery. We had to cover the pool deck with towels to ensure no one would fall. Also, all bedrooms are only accessed from outside hallways/entrances, which is something to keep in mind with small children. Finally, this is the only house on island that we have stayed where we had to dispose of our own trash.

Very responsive, answered every question in minutes, great recommendations for rental cars, taxi service, restaurants, chefs, and a cake bakery! The pictures of the house and property are stunning but when you first pull up the driveway you are literally blown away by the views. It’s unbelievable... seriously! We had a group of 5 couples and two college age kids and everyone had their own room and bathroom. 2 of the rooms were connected by a bathroom with one of the rooms have 3 twin beds which was perfect for kids and our college age kids :) All of the rooms have amazing views with a balcony or you just open your door and walk onto the patio. The outdoor showers are amazing, you will sleep like a baby on the most comfortable beds with amazing pillows and bed linens! The rooms are also very private it’s like your in a hotel with the main living area being totally separate. The house has everything you need. If you want to cook the kitchen has everything! They also supply high quality beach chairs (we were super excited they had 12) a cooler, beach towels, and yeti style cups that are also perfect for the beach. We just can’t say enough about our experience and can’t wait to come back! If your looking at this property don’t think twice just book it !!!!!
