Only 8 kilometres from Stanthorpe's town centre this newly built house can sleep 6, 2 queen beds and 2 singles. Relax on the back patio or in the luxurious bath and take in the views while enjoying local, Granite Belt wines and cheeses.

Great place to relax kick back by the fire or walk around the property. One of the best breaks we have had in years I would recommend it to anyone.

Peaceful Farm Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the farm property. The home was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed for the weekend. The children loved feeding the cows in the back, and running in the yard. The property was peaceful, but not too far out of town. We would highly recommend staying here, and wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future.

Weekend escape

A lovely modern home with plenty of room. Everything was very clean and all necessities on hand to make it like home. Good location - off the main road, short drive to Stanthorpe and other tourist attractions. Fantastic outlook over fields.

Applethorpe stay

The house was very clean and new. The fireplace easily kept the house warm and plenty of wood was provided. It was an easy drive to Stanthorpe and the wineries. We had a very nice weekend.

Modern house in Applethorpe

We had a lovely stay here. The location is about 10 minutes out of Stanthorpe and about 25 minutes from Ballandean, where there seems to be more action (e.g. wineries, pubs etc). The house is a modern build and beautiful inside. It was well equipped and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. My only suggestion for an improvement is to add some more heating. The fireplace was lovely and warm, but not enough to keep the entire house cosy in the cold of the Applethorpe winter nights/mornings.

Amazing getaway accommodation

We had an amazing weekend away with family and friends. The house was modern and spacious with nice amenities. The perfect home away from home. Simon was a wonderful host, very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!!

Better than expected

The Farm in Applethorpe surpassed our expectations. It was clean, quiet and very relaxing. A great way to escape from the fast paced and stressful everyday. Great for small kids as well. We were able to pet and feed some cows through the fence which made our 3yo’s day.

This is a true country gem. It is in a peaceful and tranquil countryside setting, yet still only 15 minutes from town. Plentiful wildlife including birds and roos. House was lovely and new, though no AC. Wood fired heat in living area. Kitchen was well equipped, lots of games and puzzles and even a few movies. The owner left a bunch of delicious apples for us too!

Great stay was had in this very well designed, furnished and stocked 3brm home in the country. Short drive to lots of the areas attractions. Highlight was being able to feed the cows with apples left by the host.

Fantastic modern house with daily cow visits!

Wonderful modern property with lots of space for the family! Short drive from Stanthorpe town centre and close to the Granite Belt Maze and Christmas Farm. The house is on a farm and we received visits every morning and afternoon from their cows. The owners left a big bucket of apples to feed the cows and the kids absolutely loved it!

Beautiful house with all the amenities, exceptionally clean and not to mention a lovely basket of fresh apples on arrival. The peace and tranquility of the location was so enjoyable. The friendly cows were a highlight to greet and feed. Simon is a great host, who responded promptly to an enquiry. Thank you for having us. We will definitely be back!

Lovely accommodation, which had all the necessities amd a great location for exploring the region

Simon is a wonderful host and was prompt with his responses to queries. The kids enjoyed feeding the cows and the log fire for the cooler evenings was great!

Fabulous farm stay

What an amazing place to stay, everything was just perfect, especially the attention to detail with amenities, games & toys for kids was fabulous, not to mention the beautiful basket of apples. We will be back we loved it so much. Thank you Simon for having us at your beautiful property.
