Summary:

At Home on Haynes… Make memories on the Fleurieu - whether it’s for the weekend, during the school holidays, a simple beach walk or a new adventure. Take a ride on the cockle train or the paddle steamer; head out to the Goolwa barrage to spot some seals - you might be lucky to see a boat pass through the lock while you’re there.



The Space:

Head out for an adventure on the Spirit of the Coorong, or enjoy a long lunch at One Paddock winery… so much to enjoy in the area. Walk to Kuti Shack, Goolwa Surf Lifesaving Club or the river with a fabulous playground and bbq area.

Wander up the front path under the palm trees and step on to the full-length timber deck of this recently refurbished home. An afternoon sitting reading a book in this tranquil setting will be enjoyed by many.



The home is situated a 10 minute stroll to the local beach and right next to a local playground, ideal for the kids who are still looking to play before the sun goes down.



Step inside the front door to fresh coastal décor in open plan living, with dining, and kitchen overlooking the enclosed backyard to keep an eye on the kids playing.



A comfy and generous open plan living area (incl. chaise lounge that comfortably seats 5- 6 adults) is the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach, by the river, or enjoying many of the local surrounds. A large (65in) smart TV is provided, and connected to the NBN, with Wi-Fi available to all guests throughout. Split system air-conditioning provides further, year-round comfort to this area.



The kitchen area provides all you’ll need for your stay – full-sized fridge, oven, electric cooktop, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, and Nespresso coffee machine (with pods) for those early morning starts. A large walk-in pantry is the perfect place to store collected goodies and treasures from the many local Goolwa stores and markets.



Dining options are plentiful. Choose from the indoor dining table (extendable to 8), or head outside to the new outdoor dining setting with accompanying BBQ area. Alternatively, relax using the new patio furniture out among the shaded deck area as you catch up on a good book or share a game of cards with friends or family; all while surrounded by the gentle lull of the ocean and warble of magpies.



The fresh and bright décor is carried through to all recently refurbished bedrooms with views over the front deck and garden, and ceiling fans for additional cooling.



Bedroom 1 can accommodate all family configurations. It is large enough for all the children to share; parents can room in with younger children; or 2 couples can share the space. Storage space is aplenty with chest of drawers and built-in wardrobes available for all guests.



Bedroom 2 can accommodate another couple with a double bed and built in robe.



The final bedroom is generously sized with queen sized bed and large walk-in wardrobe and drawers for storage.



Finally, the property is serviced by a huge 6 x 9m shed (with 2.5m metre clearance) for those looking to take advantage of the many local marinas or ample opportunities for a range of water activities.
