We only stayed one night but it was exactly as described. Very peaceful and comfortable. The host was easy to deal with, excellent communication and quick to respond. We hope to stay again in the future for a longer period to take advantage of the amenities i.e. the meet and great with the horses
Marie was great with communication. The cabin was super clean and the room upstairs was awesome with the skylights.Hot tub was a really nice addition for the husband and the deck with the climbing plants rounded out the cottage garden vibes perfectly.
The cabin is ok. I gave a two star only because of the host. She is not a genuine person to deal with.

Do Not rent to this person ever!
In the 12 years of hosting guests over 7 properties and maintaining a 4.8* overall review- over 100's of guest on both STR platforms. I receive awards quarterly from both!
Just read some other reviews about me -you will I go above abnd beyond for my guest and personally have never recieved a bad review -Proof it was this one guest!
I have never run across somone so needy.
From the minute this guest booked the incessant calls and texts began. When she showed up 4 hours early on the day of checkin( & after asking me and being denied an early checkin as another guest was leaving at 11am the same day) I recieved YET ANOTHER TELEPHONE CALL asking when it was going to be cleaned. She had shown up early anyway - disregarding my dissallowing this. Thankfuly cleaning staff hadn't arrived or the previous guests were still in the Hot tub.
I called VRBO and they fined her $100. for early check in and was told to leave. She apologized to me via text and paid it. Yet even though VRBO told her to cease private communication and only contact me through their platform-She ignored them continually texting me .
She left a lovely note in the guest book -yet the day after she left called to VRBO making up many complaints and demanding the $100. back from the early check in. What a horrid experience that I hope not other hosts experience!
We had so much fun living out of this adorable cabin for a week. The hot tub and skylights in the bedroom were definitely highlights. Marie is so kind and getting to feed the horses was a blast. She communicates so well and goes out of her way to make the experience amazing. We really appreciated how warm and welcomed we felt on our first trip to Canada. This is the perfect romantic getaway!!

What a lovely review and I am so glad your first experince to Canada what wonderful for you both :)
From the moment we got there we were super excited, check in information was super easy and quick. The cabin was gorgeous, from the drive in, to the area outside the cabin. It was all breathtaking and easy to navigate. The cabin itself was cute, small, and cozy. An absolute vibe with the scenery and aesthetics! The hot tub was great, super hot and clean! The only complaints were the mosquitos, but not much can be done for those! Everything was clean, tidy, and the host was super sweet and included a lot of extra things like coffe creamer, coffee pods, salt, pepper, and small things like that! Contacting the host is super easy and they got back to us rather quickly! Would definitely recommend and would absolutely come back in the future!
The host was great, quick to respond and very informative. We will definitely be going back again. The skylight windows are awesome at night and the hot tub is a perfect touch to this great little secluded peaceful cabin.
Came up with my husband and our two dogs, and we were sadly pretty disappointed with our experience….bedding is old and pilled and washed with wayyy too much detergent, kitchen mats and cleaning brushes and sponges old and used, one of the chairs is completely ripped at the back rest which they covered with a blanket, the sofa in the small den with the tv has had a very long life we were swallowed by it sitting in it, the fire pit literally had garbage all around it?? (A bunch of cardboard boxes, dirty roasting sticks flung everywhere, huge pieces of cut down wood) we wouldn’t have minded this if they were organized and put aside thoughtfully but it was literally just chucked wherever. The bathroom sink had stuff in the sink drain that wasn’t cleaned out before we got there, and the kitchen cabinets/exhaust smell like they have never been thoroughly cleaned and there is a distinct odour in the cabin because of it. We booked this cabin hoping this trip would be a relaxing one, but it just made us more stressed and uncomfortable. Booked 3 nights and left a day early because we just couldn’t. We bought our own bedding after seeing it. If there is a cleaning team they should be fired. This place could be so much better if they replaced certain things regularly and got a proper cleaning team. This property feels like an afterthought. We did not feel the charm, love and care for a guests experience that you would hope to expect from a host. Wont be coming back.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were not able to fully appreciate all the charm this property has to offer due to the extremely hot weather and storms. There were spectacular lightning shows looking through the skylights laying in bed and the rain was a blessing in cooling down the cabin along with the multipal fans and open windows. (No AC). However also because of the heavy rains, it was very humid and attracted millions of mosquitoes which made enjoying the open porch difficult. The stairs going up to the bedroom were difficult to navigate and for us old folks, not practical. Marie was a wonderful host and made us feel at home. I can see this place beautiful to visit in the fall and winter months.
