Facility was clean, rooms were well situated and very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. We had a wonderful time and used the fire ring Saturday night as we sang our devotional. Beautiful house! So much there to make everyone comfortable as well as entertained.

One of a kind property that exceeded expectations. This is the second time I have reserved this house for groups of 20 and it was again a fantastic trip. The house itself is more than accommodating, the hosts have a team that is very accessible, and there is never a shortage of activities. Would definitely reserve a 3rd time!

I have stayed in many vacation homes, and I must by far "THIS IS THE BEST VACATION HOME" I have ever stayed at. You will "want" for nothing. They have thought of EVERYTHING. All you have to bring with you is your "clothes". They also give you information regarding near by grocery stores, restaurants, and caterers. They are so easy to work with, and checked on you to see if anything was needed. I definately plan on scheduling our work retreat there next year. No where else compares to this place......

Perfect get away that we never wanted to end!

We had 5 families stay here for a reunion (18 people, 8 kids age 10 yrs and younger). The hosts were super professional, friendly and responsive. The people in town were amazingly friendly as well! The kids were in the pool, on the playground, in kayaks or canoes or playing in the rec spaces inside. The kitchen and dining area was large enough to accommodate us all so we could be together for meals.Many vacations you are happy to be there, and ready to go home. Our kids begged us to stay longer and all of us adults would have easily agreed.

Great home and great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property located right on the lake. Enjoyed beach volleyball, the fire pit, the many, many gathering spaces; all the wonderful kitchen appliances and great Group friendly atmosphere :) Highly recommend!

Annual YaYa Trip

We absolutely loved the house, property and service. The house is fully stocked and has so many activities. The views are spectacular and the home is spacious and clean. We had 32 women and had plenty of space. The property manager was outstanding and very responsive. We'd book this home again!

BEST WEEK EVER!!

We had an amazing week at "Your Big Lake House" so much space, an amazing pool with shade, lots of things to keep the littles occupied. This house was fully stocked with towels and blankets. The kitchens were fully stocked as well,it was great to have 2 dishwashers. The kids loved the upstairs bunk room and loft! The canoe and kayaks were also great! We used the fire pit for s'mores night and the dock space was so nice too. Friendly communication and check in's from the management. Many of the moms commented on how relaxing it was. Planning a trip back with our extended family!!

This was a wonderful place to have a family reunion. This is our second trip to this home. They take care of all of the small details including a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of beds and bunks for all the kids, an ice machine, a pool with a sun cover, Great outdoor spaces. The host was very responsive. We had an issue with the air conditioning and they had a repairman on site within 2 hours. We had chef Brad from local restaurant, pops smorgasbord, cater our meals and he was the highlight of the trip. He was very comfortable working in the large kitchen. We will definitely come back again!

Agape Women’s Retreat

This is our second year to stay on this property. It just gets better every year. The property is absolutely gorgeous and is perfect for our ladies event. Dave and Ann both kept us alert on the weather as we had some rolling through the state. We look forward to staying here again!

Incredible House!

We took our church high school youth here, and we had an incredible retreat! There was so much to do, and the accommodations were first rate! It was too cold to take advantage of the outside amenities but our youth want to come back when we can! Because they looked like a lot of fun, too!

Great Space For Large Groups

We had a great experience at Dave and Ann’s place. It had everything we needed and plenty of space that even though we had a large group it didn’t feel crammed. Lots of outdoor activities and loved the large kitchen living room space upstairs and downstairs. We had a group of women age ranges from 20s-60s and everyone loved it!

Fantastic Rental

This is our 2nd time renting this house for our family get together. This is set up very well for large families and groups. The dorm style bathrooms are genius!! Highly recommend.

We are also in the Real Estate business. Our passion is to ensure that everyone of our guests has a FIVE STAR stay at our properties and we always try and go above and beyond. This property sits on 2.5 acres of gorgeous wooded, deer-filled, shoreline. It is so peaceful here and the home we built for you accommodates a few or many. It is so versatile and can feel like a little B&B or it can handle a very large crowd. We bought the property because it is so close to Atlanta, Birmingham and Chattanooga. For us Atlantans, lakes are usually at least two hours away; we discovered this little secret. We are VERY remote, Dollar General Market is only 5 minutes away. A Piggly Wiggly, Dollar General, and several restaurants are as close as 12 mins away. A Walmart is 20 mins away and everything else you need is 30-40 minutes away either in Gadsden AL, Ft. Payne AL, or Rome, GA. There is also tons to do in the area. We are close to Little River Falls, Little River Canyon, DeSoto Falls, Orbitz Hot Glass blowing, Pirates Bay water park (seasonal), Mentone, white water rafting and rappelling. Included with this home, we have a gas grill, board games, yard games, pool, hot tub, lake access, kayaks, wood burning fire pit, playground, large covered back patio with outdoor dining, patio furniture, and propane fire pit, etc.

Large enough to hold everyone collectively and plenty of room to even "get away". Even the giant lakeside porch has separate conversation areas. There’s an upper sun deck, rocking chairs on the front porch, two separate living rooms, a loft, the dock, picnic area, or the beach. The kitchen and living areas are spacious and set up for larger groups. Numerous sleeper sofas, ottomans, dining chairs, and bar stools. Enough seating for 40. The entire living/dining is 40 x 23 so it is nice and open for all to gather. Outside, the 80 x 24 porch can accommodate everyone in the same manner. Kids LOVE this place with the bunk room, pool table, ping pong, and outdoor activities. Basketball, horseshoes, trampoline and swingset as well as all of the canoes and kayaks etc.

The options are VERY limited when it comes to finding a property to hold larger groups. We have seen others that are 4 townhomes in a row or several houses in a subdivision in close proximity but this house is all together under one roof. Family reunions, corporate, or church retreats. We can connect you with caterers & all ancillary services. Our reputation is that "we have thought of everything". We really do live that. For the most part, all your group needs to bring is food and clothing. We have everything else. Trash bags, paper towels, Kleenex, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, dishwasher & laundry detergent, coffee sweeteners, basic spices, linens, bath towels, & so much more
