Thank you for your feedback! We're thrilled to hear you and your dog had a great time. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we hope to welcome you back soon.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s very roomy. The description was accurate, it’s an older home that’s in the midst of being renovated, if you need everything to be perfect you will be disappointed. That said, it had everything we needed. We appreciated the charm of the home. The host/property manager was extremely responsive and nice to work with! The location is fabulous as it is right on the beach, just a short walk through the dunes to get to the water. Our pups really enjoyed romping on the beach.

Thank you for your feedback and for staying in a RedAwning property. We look forward to hosting you again.
The beach was very private and nice. As others stated the outside was a little run down but it didn’t affect our stay. It was very clean. The beds in the upstairs bedrooms were very comfortable. The property manager was very helpful with providing a canopy for the beach. We had neighbors but really didn’t hear them. If you are looking for a 4 bedroom that is pet friendly and a private beach then I would recommend. If you are looking for a mansion then this is not the place for you. It was fine for our family.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the private and nice beach, and we apologize for any concerns about the outside appearance. However, we're delighted that it didn't affect your stay and that the cleanliness of the property met your expectations. We're also pleased to hear that the beds in the upstairs bedrooms were very comfortable and that the property manager was helpful in providing a canopy for the beach. We appreciate your recommendation for those seeking a pet-friendly 4-bedroom with a private beach. While it may not be a mansion, we're glad it was suitable for your family. Thank you for choosing our property, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.
As the listing describes, this is an older house that has some updating needed. It was decently clean (there was a lot of stained carpets and such, but we were expecting that from the listing description). It didn't smell and we didn't see any bugs. The beds were comfy, the location was nearby everything we were visiting and it was on the beach. There were a few issues we had when we got there and they were resolved quickly. There was plenty of room for our very large family. If you are planning on cooking much, you may want to bring plastic silverware and paper plates as there isn't really enough of that for a large family. But, hey, who wants to wash dishes on vacation anyway, right? Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would stay again.

Not worth the money or time
This property is on a secluded Beach area. The inside was clean, but cockroach infested. We stayed just two nights out of the 5 we booked. Property manager would not respond to my request for reimbursement of nights not used. Because we didn't take pictures of us killing roaches redawning will not help in the matter. We are out 2000 because of this. My advice... stay away.

Thank you for letting us know about this issue. As we are a beach front home, and we are pet friendly, this issue can appear from time to time. We do have our homes treated professionally on a monthly basis. Unfortunately this guest arrived shortly after a treatment and sent us a message that they have found two dead bugs. This is not an infestation and is sometimes encountered just after a treatment. Even so, we did call our extermination company for an extra treatment. I am happy to report that all is well and this problem has been eradicated.

A nice stay
Overall it was a nice stay. Walls are very thin, so the guests in the adjoining unit made a lot of noise that was quite annoying, even late into the night. The kitchen is very bare, one of the least stocked kitchens I've ever stayed at in vrbo or air-bnb. Also, some of the cups and cooking utensils were dirty with dried food on them. I did complain to the manager who was responsive and offered to send someone to clean (not very useful as I needed the utensils right then so had already cleaned them myself). No additional compensation was offered, which I felt was a bit unfair that I had to pay a full cleaning fee, but did not receive a fully clean unit.
The house was spacious with a good layout. The property is very old and the house needs a lot of work but it was fairly clean. We originally booked unit one but the day of check in I received a message that there was a conflict with that unit and stayed in unit 2 instead. We did lose a bedroom so my husband and I ended up sharing a room with his dad. The AC was also not working properly on our last night so it was a bit hot. What made the stay worth it was the closeness to the water. There is a trail out back that leads directly to the bay and the water was nice and calm which was great for the small kids in our group. We also had boogie boards, kayaks, beach chairs, and beach toys at our disposal The host was also quick to respond to any questions.

Thank you for your detailed review. We're glad you enjoyed the spacious layout and the property's proximity to the bay. Apologies for the last-minute unit change and the AC issue on your last night. We're happy to hear the available beach amenities and quick responses from the host made your stay enjoyable. We'll work on the areas that need improvement and hope to welcome you back in the future!

You get what you pay for
The rate was a pretty good bargain so did not have super high expectations. Damp mold smell but the house is old and on the bay. There were some live pests and some dead pests. A few door hinges loose, light bulbs blown out/missing. Again, for the price it was worth the quick stay.
