The Space:
Aqua Sands by Stay Waiheke - Studio 1 sits quietly on the first level of a modern holiday home, with beautiful sea views and all-day light. One of two studios side by side, it’s private yet easy, the kind of place that immediately feels like holiday mode has begun.

Inside, the open-plan layout feels bright and relaxed. A super-comfy king bed sits opposite a small sitting area that opens to a covered patio framed by lush greenery and views of the bay. Mornings are peaceful here, coffee in hand, waves in the distance, a slow start to the day.
The kitchenette includes everything you’ll need for simple meals, a small fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster, deal for breakfast or light bites before heading out to explore.

After a day at the beach, wander back, shower off the sand, and pour a glass of Waiheke wine as the light shifts over the bay. Simple, calm, and easy, this is island living at its best.

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to their private studio and patio. Parking is available on-site, and the beach is just across the road, no need for shoes.
Check-in is from 2pm, and check-out is 10:30am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional fee; we’ll confirm closer to your stay depending on back-to-back bookings.

The Neighborhood:
Little Oneroa is that sweet pocket where island life still feels local. You’re a few barefoot steps from the beach, the local dairy, and one of Waiheke’s most-loved fish & chip spots. Oneroa village is an easy stroll away, full of cafés, galleries, and boutique shops.

Spend lazy afternoons at nearby vineyards like Mudbrick or Cable Bay, or wander down to Oneroa Beach for a swim or a slow walk along the sand. Everything feels close here, relaxed, walkable, and distinctly Waiheke.

Getting Around:
Aqua Sands by Stay Waiheke sits right on the local bus route, with the stop conveniently located by Little Oneroa Dairy. Regular buses connect to Oneroa, Onetangi, and Matiatia Ferry Terminal, making it easy to explore without a car.

If you’re driving, there’s parking at the property. Waiheke’s winding roads and sea views make getting around a pleasure, whether by car, bus, scooter, or e-bike, the island always unfolds at its own easy pace.

Other Things to Note:
The studios sit beneath the owners’ holiday home, with its own separate entrance and outdoor area for full privacy. There are limited kitchen facilities, just a small fridge, microwave, bowls, plates, cutlery, and glasses. But with so many great restaurants and cafés just up the road, you’ll likely find little need for them.

It’s the kind of place where you slow down without even trying, just the sea, the breeze, and a quiet night in.
