Beautiful Home!

We stayed here for a weekend long dance competition in Lancaster. The home was perfect for our group of three moms and three dancers. Everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Beautiful home!

It was a wonderful place to stay as my 2 brothers and their spouses and myself and husband were enjoying a sibling reunion. We are from different states and met up in Lancaster. We were central in a lot of historical sites to see. We had a wonderful time at the vacation home, and we made welcomed by the owner and his wife. If we come back that way in the future, we will certainly stay there again. It was clean and very well maintained.

quiet serene location

This is a beautiful home in a quiet community. Communications with the owners was very prompt and they even took the time to call me a few days prior to our arrival to discuss all the rules of the home. House was clean and well maintained except for a significantly older stove top and oven (the oven door wouldn't shut all the way). Since we vacation with our whole family eating in becomes priority as much as possible and we functioned just fine. My grands enjoyed watching the Amish farmer plow his land everyday. We were well rested here!

The area was very quiet despite there being an elementary school right across the street. The house was in a great location. It was not very far from restaurants and attractions. The Sight & Sound Theater was nearby. There was a very private backyard. We enjoyed sitting on the deck. It was nice that there was a turnaround for the driveway as it was located on a main drag. The house was decorated very nice. There was plenty of room. The main bathroom had a walk-in shower. Our only complaints were that there are no closets in the bedrooms - just hooks on the walls with hangers and the coffee pot looked as though it hadn't been cleaned at all. There was a thick layer of coffee grounds where the filter cartridge goes into the coffee maker. It took a while to clean it.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful

This home was clean, well decorated, comfortable and warm. Marcy the host contact us to allow us to check in early. Which was nice. Our stay was nice from the first entry. No need to contact her because everything was in order. It was so comfortable the 5 and 10 yo didn't want to leave. We only used for a weekend but it would be a nice place to stay longer. Quiet and chilled. We will use this home again if and when we return to Lancaster. Thank you Marcy for a wonderful stay, may God bless you!

Cozy home with open floor plan to encourage socializing . Nice outdoor space as well!

Only issue was it was difficult to manage the heat to a comfortable temperature.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this tastefully updated house among the corn fields outside of Lancaster! Birds, fireflies, butterflies from the back deck. Kitchen/dining is a bright, open space. Great tv room and living room. Great beds. Quiet. Corn in three directions. Lots of walking and exercise options across the street at the school.
