About Kristin Williams
My husband and I love the historic charm of our house and the surrounding neighborhoods. Our favorite activities around town include hanging out on our front porch veranda and watching the birds, walking downtown to grab a bite to eat and shop, strolling the various lakes and Hollis Gardens, and taking nature hikes at Circle B. I am an environmental educator, guiding children around the Florida Keys and The Everglades; I also own and operate a booth with environmentally friendly gifts at the local Downtown Lakeland Farmers Curb Market every Saturday.
Kristin Williams purchased this House in 2005
Why Kristin Williams chose East Lake Morton
This house has all the original hardwood floors throughout, amazing views of Lake Morton (especially at sunset), clean & comfortable guestrooms, and spacious common areas to socialize with your friends and family. It was love at first sight for us and we can't wait to share it with you!

Perfect home away from home ❤️
The Lakeland Guest House was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend during our niece’s wedding. It feels like “home” from the second you walk inside, especially with all of the special touches. Would highly recommend this charming, peaceful home to anyone!
Great location to see Grapefruit league spring training.
This VRBO as good if not better than it looks. Having the three separate bathrooms and bedrooms worked great for us three baseball fans. The living, dining, and kitchen areas helped us save money on food. We shopped and had breakfast every morning with beautiful views of the lake, geese and beautiful swans. We came to Lakewood thinking that baseball would be the highlight, however it was the lovely VRBO that Kristin provides visitors. A note to baseball fans that are used to Phoenix spring training. At most spring training sites on the east coast you cannot get close to the A level practices.
Kristin thanks so much for sharing your property. Jim, Rick, and Carl
Beautiful, clean, great location!
This was one of the best properties we have stayed at and we frequently book properties. Kristin's attention to detail is impeccable. Comfortable beds, beautiful home and view. Restaurants and beautiful Hollis Garden are
just blocks away. We plan to stay here again next year!
The property is truly one of the best I've ever stayed.
As a VRBO owner myself, I can tell you these are exceptional owner/operators. Not only is the house gorgeous, but they left snacks for us, some drinks in the fridge, and all the necessary items to have a great stay. This property is truly worthy 5 stars, 6 stars if I could!!!
Experience Lakeland's finest!
Without doubt, the best guest house and the best location in all of Lakeland. The house itself is beautiful and well-furnished - an architectural gem. The rooms are well-appointed and the home met every one of our wants and needs. Kristin is a fabulous host and excels at all the extra little touches to make a stay memorable. The snacks and beverages were much appreciated and we spent our early mornings on the porch enjoying the view of Lake Morton and the birds. It was a short walk from parks and restaurants downtown. We will be back to stay again!
Wonderful experience at the Guesthouse in Lakeland
Property is as shown in photos. Lovely setting across from the lake. Well maintained, many amenities (tv, games, books). We loved sitting on the porch watching the swans and friends by the Lake. Kristin is the BEST homeowner we have done business with using Vrbo. She does a LOT to ensure a successful visit. We will return to the guesthouse again when we come to the Lakeland area.
Thank you, your review is so sweet!! We are so happy you enjoyed porch sitting and watching the feathered friends on the lake. We would gladly host your next stay to Lakeland! Kind regards, Kristin
