Beautiful views of Longbow lake from the deck or tower. Stocking up for the week is easy with Redden’s around the corner. A fun design and details in the home made our stay complete. Great kitchen and home design. This is a really fun place.
The place was very quiet. It was a nice get away. All the amenities were good. The manager was very helpful when we had questions. The corner store was a very short drive.
Absolutely fantastic location. Spacious for the 8 of us.

Our group of 12 had a wonderful time at this beautiful and well equipped property. The property manager was very attentive and the quiet and scenic location was perfect. The basement was perfect to give the kids some extra space to play. We hope to return someday!

Hi Joanne, you were great guests. Happy to have your group back anytime!
This was such a wonderful place to stay. I booked for a work trip with co-workers and this is by far the best accommodations we have had in the Kenora area. The property was amazing. The cottage was clean, spacious, and allowed for a great living, working and socializing space. The hosts were excellent communicators. Highly, highly, highly recommend!
Private and fun, this place is amazing on the water’s edge of 20 acres and perched atop some of the most beautiful rock formations on Longbow Lake. I keep coming back to stay here for the price and view. Northern Lights are on display off the porch and the octagon tower is a great place to relax.
We stayed a week in this beautiful cottage on Longbow Lake. It was very clean, well equipped, and is located on a quiet and private part of the lake. Good dock for our boat and the view of the water is perfect. We will definitely return.

Hi Rick, thank you for the review! So glad you enjoyed your stay. You are welcome back any time.
Our family enjoyed a wonderful week on Longbow Lake. The cottage overlooks the lake, was a first class property on a point location which provided complete privacy. We plan to return next summer!

Hi Barry, thank you for the nice review. We would be delighted to host you and your family again next summer!
This our second time renting Rene’s cottage. It is a beautiful cottage with every amenity you could want (and pet friendly). The location is gorgeous. There’s ample dock space for hanging out and deep water for your boat. We even caught quite a few good sized Northerns right off the dock… looking forward to next year!

Thank you for the review Jeff! It was a pleasure hosting you and your family. We would certainly rent to you again in the future.
Quiet. Secluded. Well equipped. Lots of different space options. Great dock. Great patio spaces. Very good kitchen.
We loved our family time together at this cottage!
We stayed here with another family and there was plenty of room for us all. The newly remodeled kitchen is very nice with a large fridge and bar fridge. The views are spectacular whether from inside the cottage or on the deck. Our kids (young adults) enjoyed the top room of the tower for socializing. The lake is large and lots of room for water sports. Overall a wonderful vacation spot and we had perfect weather for the week.

Hi Gerhard, thank you for the positive review and for being a great guest. So glad to hear your extended family stay was enjoyable. I hope the remainder of the summer has been well.
We met at this cottage for my parent’s 50th anniversary. The house was updated, clean, and had plenty of room. We had great times on the deck, in the gazebo, and down on the dock/in the lake. There were a couple of floaties provided but I would recommend bringing a couple of your own, and your kayaks if you have them. My husband and I flew from South Western Ontario so we didn’t have our own kayaks and ended up purchasing two used inflatable kayaks that were ok but we wouldn’t recommend them. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of a firepit, otherwise it’s a beautiful location that is a short drive to Redden’s campground store that has many of the basics you will need.

Hi Christine, thank you for your review! It was a pleasure having your family stay. It's wonderful to hear the property worked well for your parent's 50th anniversary. I will share that since receiving your feedback, a propane fire pit has been purchased for the property.
The check in process was very easy, and the cottage looks exactly like the photos, if not better!
The place is quite big, and very easily accommodated our group of 10 adults. It also has pretty much everything you would ever need, and the camp store that is a few minutes away has everything you may have forgotten. The sauna and screen porch were definitely a favourite, along with the amazing lakeside views. It is also very private, which is a real bonus.
The only thing to say that might be a bit negative is that the beds were not the most comfortable, and the dock/stairs down are not in the best shape, though not unsafe in any way. Neither of these things would dissuade us from visiting again in the least, though.
I can’t speak to how accessible the property manager is, as we had absolutely no issues, but it was really nice to know there’s someone close by if anything were to happen.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for any larger group or family for a fun summer getaway. Would definitely come back if the opportunity arose!!
