Adorable home with great view and the easiest access to Mt Lemmon and the Rincons..Super cute style with lots of attention to detail. The patio and pool are great for relaxing. A few pool floats would be the icing on the cake :) Would definitely stay again

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Agave in East Tucson. The home was exceptionally clean and had all we needed for our stay. Too cold for a dip in the pool but we enjoyed the outdoor space. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Cute house with room for the family. Nicely remodeled with all the things we needed. Our 12 yr old loved the ping pong table. We stayed for a U of A graduation & were about 25 min from campus. Nice option for a group to be together instead of at a hotel.

Tanque Verde Wedding Trip

We have come to Tucson many times as we have family here. This was our first time staying in the Tanque Verde area. The house was perfect. Very close to the wedding venue that we were in town to attend. The home was exactly as described - very clean and roomy enough for our party of five and communication regarding any questions or concerns was addressed right away. I would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the Tucson area.

Exceptional Property

The property was exactly as presented. We had our niece, her parents and a couple of her friends over for a little college graduation celebration and the house was perfect. We would recommend this home to any family. The Host was also very responsive and helpful. Thank you!

Our stay was wonderful!! We lived in Tucson back in 2007-2104 so it was like coming home! Casa Agave is perfect, private and had everything we needed! Only thing maybe to add would be some floating noodles for the pool and a couple more blankets to cuddle in on the couch for evenings you stay in and watch tv - but other than that it was perfection! And we got to try two new restaurants I HIGHLY recommend- Snooze for breakfast and Culinary Dropout dinner We’ll be back to Casa Agave for sure!!

great location and pool

The location is great, very quiet cul de sac in the foothills. The pool is great and very private. The house was clean and ready early. Very nice place, would stay here again. The outside seating and patio area was not cleaned. The outdoor furniture cushions were very dirty, probably as a result of dogs. A lot of guest comments said their dogs loved that area. The trash can in the garage appeared to not have been emptied for quite some time as a result when we left it was over filled, and wouldn't close. Overall it is a very nice place and will check availability next time we are in Tucson.

Desert delight

We loved the house. It was clean, comfortable and the location was ideal for walking and the peace and quiet was wonderful. Communication with all the parties, I.e., property management, cleaning crew, and owner was very confusing. Our one call about hot water in the house was never answered. The yard was unattended and was very disappointing The front porch was dirty and initial reaction was not good. The house Manuel needs to be updated. We loved the house itself and the location. Attention to details would have made all the difference.

Pet friendly poolside retreat

Despite the especially scorching temperatures the week we stayed, Casa Agave was the perfect retreat for us and our pups to stay cool and relax while in Tucson. The house itself was great - clean and well-appointed - and the pool was really nice. The location is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the Rincon district of Saguaro National Park. Not super close to downtown, but that wasn’t at all an issue for us! The only slight downside was that the place is managed by a property management company that wanted us to communicate directly with their staff by phone, rather than through the Vrbo app. We ended up not needing to contact them but having gotten ‘burned’ by this in the past on another booking site, it’s worth noting!

Weekend Stay

The property was clean and well decorated, with a beautiful view of the mountains. We are from the Tucson area and reserved this property, from Friday to Monday, solely to have access to a private pool for the weekend as my adult daughters were visiting. Unfortunately the pool was unusable. When my wife and I arrived Friday after work we were looking forward to a relaxing float in the pool. When I noticed the condition I reached out the the local contact who made a suggestion to get the pool vacuum running again, it worked, but only for a short time. I then texted him again stating we were picking our daughters up from the airport on Saturday, could we get someone to come by and look at it. Mid morning Saturday a neighbor stopped by to see if he could do anything for the pool. He looked at it and immediately said he could not, it was so murky you could not see the vacuum at the bottom. This gentleman was very kind and generously offered the use of his pool while he was running errands. Despite the awkwardness of it, we decided to use his pool. I'm sure I do not have to explain the difference between having access to a private pool all weekend to a couple hours at a neighbors house. We decided to leave Sunday, as it made no sense to stay there since we could not use the pool. I texted the local contact to try to get in contact with the owner as I felt we did not get what we paid for and should get some type of discount. I received no reply

Hi Kevin, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and we wish you would have contacted the homeowner directly during your stay since their phone number is listed in the guest book. After sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following: - We’re sorry to hear you encountered some maintenance issues with the pool. Unfortunately, we tried, but couldn't get the pool company to complete maintenance on the pool over the weekend. However, we did contact the neighbors for their help and they generously let you use their large pool and we’re happy to hear you enjoyed it. - While we cannot guarantee the availability of community amenities, we do understand that these amenities play a large role when guests book a property. We do recommend that guests ask to verify if community amenities will be available at the time of booking. - While we do regret our pool was not up to your expectations, we are happy to report that no issues were reported by the guests who stayed the following weekend. What a lovely location. The house is in good shape. The communication was good. I was glad the host was able to give us a late check out. I was disappointed that there was no way to heat the pool even if we were OK with paying for it. Part of the reason we selected this house was because it had a pool, but it was unusable due to the cold. The beds were comfortable. My friends and I enjoyed.

Because the pool is quite large, heating it would require a substantial amount of energy and cost, which unfortunately makes it impractical to offer—even as a paid option. For that reason, the pool is not advertised as heated, and its usability can vary depending on the season and weather.
