The Loft was just beautiful! We loved the location, easy parking, well equipped kitchen, laundry if we ever need it…..only suggestions would be a king size bed, and a hand held attachment in the shower. I imagine it is even prettier in the spring, summer and fall!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the location, convenient parking, and the well-equipped kitchen and laundry amenities. Regarding the bed setup, a king-size bed would eliminate space for a nightstand, which many guests find to be an important feature. If the shower head ever needs replacement, we will certainly consider an option with a handheld sprayer at that time. We appreciate your perspective and understand that preferences can vary. While we strive to provide a comfortable and well-appointed stay that has earned mostly 5-star reviews, we recognize that not every amenity will suit every individual.

Amazing hidden gem

We stayed here for a girl's weekend. It was perfect. The location was convenient and the property was amazing. There were so many extra amenities, which made it extra special .made

Wonderful Property

My 15 year old son and I stayed here for a week while he attended a tennis day camp at KSU. The property and grounds are beautiful and very quiet! The loft is gorgeous inside, and you really feel like you are staying in a castle. I highly recommend this property and will be booking it again!

A Beautiful Place to Stay

This is a gorgeous, quiet place in the heart of Manhattan KS. Close to shops, restaurants and the freeway. The attention to detail and comfort is the best I have experienced, and we’ve used ARBNB and VRBO world wide. Highly recommend The Loft!

Gorgeous Getaway!

We came to Manhattan to visit our kids at KSU. We booked this little gem as it was close to their houses. Little did we know that we would be staying in the most gorgeous little apartment. Every aspect of this place was amazing. It is almost like a little museum. We will definitely stay here again!

Such a Special Place!

The loft at Kimble Castle is a gem! It's so stunning, yet extremely cozy and comfortable. The hosts have appointed the place so well. It truly feels like a 5 star hotel. We were in Manhattan for homecoming weekend. The Loft is close to everything! We can't wait to come back!

Fantastic!

Wonderful and unique stay in a beautiful setting! This is a perfect getaway if you are a couple, visiting military family or college family. It is an upscale, well loved and super clean short term rental. Jennifer thought of everything and made sure our stay was amazing! It is close to everything. Minutes from Kansas State, Fort Riley, Aggieville and Manhattan Airport. Don't pass this one up!

Royal accommodations in the little apple!

The Loft at Kimble Castle was everything we hoped it would be- an oasis centrally located to what we planned to do while in Manhattan and a special experience we will always remember. The hosts thought of everything! We appreciated and enjoyed their suggestions of lesser known local spots to visit as well as the ameneties offered on the property. We’ll certainly stay again!

Unique place to stay for family weekend

Loved staying at the loft for our family weekend visit to Kansas State. I'm sure I've driven by this place a million times and never noticed it, tucked back in the wooded area. The loft was clean and bright, easy to get in and communicate with Jen. My daughter and her friends loved coming to visit and walk around the property. Thanks for a fun visit!

Beautiful stay!

My husband and I had a great time at the Loft! We loved how beautiful the place is and how well stocked it is. We love all the thought put into making our experience wonderful. We pulled out a bunch of the board games provided and enjoyed the evening. All of the details, including the motif from Portugal and the BEAUTIFUL doors from Italy sets this place apart from all others. The thought put into this place was beyond wonderful. We would highly recommend staying here!

Perfect.

Everything about the Loft at Kimble Castle is first rate. We would place it in the top 1% of accommodations we've encountered in the U. S. We cannot imagine how it could be improved. Recommended without hesitation.

Delightful get-away

We greatly enjoyed out brief stay in the Loft at Kimble Castle. The property is ideal for a get-away, or a family visit to Manhattan, KS. It is beautifully appointed, and has the best-equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a vacation rental. Our review would not have been so glowing had we come on a work trip or academic visit. There is no desk or table suitable to use as a desk in the property.

Magical Manhattan getaway

What a treasure this historical property is!! The attention to detail and the host/hostess’s gift for hospitality is the best I have experienced. We were visiting our young granddaughters who were able to feel like princesses at this wonderful loft and beautiful castle grounds. The hostess even supplied us with bubbles, sidewalk chalk, children’s books and a pack & play. The kitchen was well-equipped so that I could prepare full meals for my family and even bake! We hope to stay here again for future visits.

Beautiful lil gem

I had the most incredible and unique stay at the loft at Kimble Castle. The Foveaux’s went above and beyond to make sure I had a memorable experience. The accommodations were truly one-of-a-kind, from the beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms to the details of the welcome gift. I was able to enjoy the serene surroundings and enjoy the quiet and peaceful location. I loved reading about the history of the property as well. I highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for something special and out of the ordinary. The windows are breathtaking. I love all the elements of details in all fixtures. Nice little staycation.

Review of Kimble Castle Loft

About our stay - Other than being speechless, we were very overwhelmed when we opened the front door and saw how immaculate and impeccable everything was! Our visit was a gift to us and very impressive. Every necessary detail and procedure I could think of was provided by Jennifer before our arrival - very helpful! Jennifer also provided super fast response to a couple of questions we had, taking time out of personal family time to ensure we were taken care of expeditiously!! Unfortunately we were only booked for two days but what a great unwind place in the middle of a hectic schedule. If you ever have the chance and can, definitely something to put on a bucket list!!!

Far beyond my expectations

I've stayed at many vacations homes in the US and abroad and this one is superior. The home itself is beautiful and looks as good as the pictures. The minor details like the ship lamps and stained glass are wonderful. The grounds were amazing, and not expected in the Little Apple! It was nice having a location where I could sit outside and drink a glass of wine in the evenings. The amenities are also top of class. I cooked all my meals and the kitchen has everything I needed, included additional spices. The towels were very nice, the bed very comfortable and the AC/heat worked great, there was a fan in the bedroom. These seem like minor details until you stay in a place that doesn't have them. This location is not within walking distance of any store or restaurant so you need a car.
