Great house!

Everything was perfect about this house for our short stay for a softball tournament. The location was central to everything. The host provided everything you need, the house was clean and the beds were super comfy. We would definitely stay again!

The house was so comfortable, relaxing and inviting. We were wishing we could stay a few extra days just to chill at the house. The location was perfect. Very clean and decorated so nice. Loved watching the wildlife.

We had such a nice time visiting with family. The Philo house is in such a nice location with beautiful views and trees. Just the right neighborhood to walk in the morning and afternoon. The Outlet Mall and other shopping is just a mile away or less. You will love your visit!!!

Nice clean home, easy to get to, the kitchen was well-stocked with spices and seasonings, utensils, etc. The only thing missing was oven mitts, oddly, which was somewhat difficult when cooking. We enjoyed our stay!

Such a clean and comfortable home. Allowed us to visit with family in a comfortable setting. Enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings drinking coffee and watching deer play. So tranquil.

Quiet place to relax.

The property is surrounded by trees. We enjoyed seeing the deer and the quiet neighborhood. The property was clean and stocked with everything we needed. There's puzzles and board games to keep you entertained. The beds are comfy and the rooms are spacious. I highly recommend this property.

Fantastic for a girls trip!!

This home is so adorable. There are a perfect amount of beds and space for 4-6 people (we were 5 friends) and the living/dining room and bathrooms were a great size and super comfortable. We would absolutely stay again this is a great friends spot or family home for a vacation rental! Also, our host was so responsive and accommodating when we had a couple of questions. We especially enjoyed seeing fawns exploring the back yard! So cute

Fantastic Stay in San Marcos – Highly Recommend

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful property in San Marcos! The location was perfect—close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet. The home itself was spotless and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We especially loved reading about the history of the cute brick dinosaur fire pit in the backyard. It made our trip even more special! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in San Marcos. We will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful!

We stayed here because we had a function in Austin, but wanted to make it into a mini vacation. This is a wonderfully located home, with quick access to all the activities in San Marcos and New Braunfels. Place was extremely clean. Property was gorgeous, with loads of deer wondering around, especially in the evening. My only complaint was the master bed. The mattress had a large dip in the middle, and my husband and I found it very uncomfortable. It maybe that we just like really firm mattresses. Definitely not a deal-breaker.
