¡Alójese en el Breadline Bluff Lodging y comparta una vista impresionante con cuervos, águilas calvas y más!

El Breadline Bluff es un tramo de costa a 20 millas al norte del centro de Juneau, Alaska, y 12 millas al norte del aeropuerto de Juneau (se recomienda transporte personal). Esta ubicación "fuera de la carretera" significa que disfrutará de paz y tranquilidad en una de las más favorables micro-climas de la zona de Juneau (es decir, menos de lluvia!) y también está perfectamente situado para hacer senderismo, camping, pesca, paseos en bote o aventuras en uno de nuestros parques estatales o en el Parque Nacional Tongass.

Nuestra casa frente al mar reparador se alza sobre un terreno boscoso y cuenta con acceso a la playa, una envolvente de la cubierta cubierta, parrilla, parrilla, y todas las comodidades del hogar (lavandería, cocina completa, televisión y conexión a internet de alta velocidad).

This well loved property was perfect for our girls week. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, appreciated the woodstove, and the host was very accommodating ... but mostly, the view from the cozy porch was 10 stars! We saw whales almost everyday.

The view was amazing. It made for a relaxing visit, with the awesome ability to get to the beach in short order. The house is an interesting layout (which we love about Juneau homes) and the decor fit right in with Cohen drive.

Five of us stayed at this wonderful home. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was well equipt and it was clean and comfortable. We saw whales and eagles almost every day before we even left the house. The house is on a quiet street and close to many nature trails yet still only a 25 minute drive from Juneau. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

The perfect little place to vacation. Alice was so helpful and answered any questions we had. She helped us find a rental car on short notice and offered to give us rides to town.

We were here to attend a wedding. The home is cozy, well decorated with all that we needed. The view from the back of the house/ deck is amazing. We definitely would recommend! Many thanks to our host!

Great view! The place was clean when we arrived and Alice was super friendly and helpful. Perfect distance from town where food, entertainment, and groceries were convenient. Everything you need for cooking was provided in the kitchen. Many things to do and see in the area. We would highly recommend and visit again!

Everything good comment you read in the reviews is on point and very true. Alice and Bill are welcoming hosts with a great set up for those who want a peaceful place to stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the house is clean, and the views are impeccable. We'd definitely stay again and again.

Fantastic value

The propertywas outstanding. The view was unforgettable and we saw half a dozen bald eagles every day. Kitchen has everything you need, plus lots more. Best of all was the beautiful and carefully thought out amenities—the library of books was amazing, the piano and guitar welcome treats. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great views, peaceful, quiet

We loved our stay at this house. The water and mountain views from the house and the balcony are great. The walk down the long flight of steps to the rocky beach below is a great way to get your morning exercise and get more great views. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is pretty well-stocked. The house has not been recently modernized but it's in good shape. We stayed here for a few days before departing on an Alaskan Dream Cruise leaving out of Juneau. We rented a car through Turo so that we could visit the town to Juneau, Mendenhall Glacier and some hiking spots. Saw the salmon running at nearby Eagle Beach State Park (beautiful park with lots of birds too) and there are lots of other trails and things to see along the Glacier Highway and other parts of Juneau. This was a lovely home base for our visit.

These views guys!

Let me tell you the when we got to the property we had been flying for 9 hours not bad but when we walked onto the back porch the view was amazing! It was like 1am when we finally arrived but you could hear the eagles calling out and the waves hitting the rocks down below. We couldn’t sleep so we sat out on the back porch just listening to all the nature. We saw porpoises, orca, salmon jumping and heard humpback whales splashing. There was even a sweet bear just being nosey with the flowers and stairs later that week we saw his girlfriend! Everything was stocked we didn’t really need to buy anything. We had a great time. There was some snags but we contacted the host and got it all settled.

Everything we hoped for and more

This was a perfect spot for our family to call home for our Alaskan adventure. We went on a number of excursions during our stay but the most wonderful memories we created were here...kayaking and canoeing, fishing, exploring the sea life during low tide and just enjoying the beautiful scenery. And everything we needed was there at the house. In fact dinner our last night was salmon that my son caught using the provided fishing gear. There are a lot steps to get down to the shoreline so you get your exercise going back up but it is so worth it. My one piece of advice is to find a walking stick for traversing the shoreline on day one and keep it handy. That stick made exploring so much easier. And a special thanks to Alice for being the perfect host! If we ever return to Juneau this is where we will stay.

Terrible Experience – Regret BookingWe stayed here for two nights with family and it was a disaster from the start. Communication with the host was poor, and when we arrived, the house was unlocked with dog poop all over the entrance. The entrance code provided was wrong which we discovered the next day. Inside, one bathroom and the laundry room had really bad water leaks, and the other bathroom had a clogged sink. The owner lists this property through his daughter but seems completely unaware of what’s happening. Worst of all, they knew about these problems before our stay yet made no mention of them when we booked. The house is far from downtown Juneau, in poor condition, and wildly overpriced for what you get. The only positive is the view—if you’re still in the mood to enjoy it after dealing with all the problems. I wish I had booked somewhere else.

Everything in the description of this property was correct! The beauty of the setting, the sense of being "in a tree house with all the amenities" hit the mark! We were there for a fishing vacation with two of our grown sons and thoroughly enjoyed the time and space we shared with them! The kitchen was well stocked. The piano (although it needed tuning) made for evenings of musical fun! The problem that brought our 5 star visit to a 3 star was in the master bedroom and bath. I'll explain: When we arrived and were excited to empty suitcases into closets and drawers, there was a terrible smell in the bedding. Sour milk perhaps or puke? Our host was apologetic and quickly removed and replaced the foul smelling blankets. However an odor remained. (Urine) Maybe from a previous pet mess in the carpet? It was very distracting and made staying in that room very uncomfortable. Then there was the master bath. It appeared to be in the middle of a re-paint and wallpaper project: from turquoise to white and paper strips still in need of trimming. The shower drain was very slow to drain so my first shower meant standing in 3-4 inches of water. The shower curtain was small for the tub and didn't seal well so the bathroom floor covered with water. I used the other bathroom shower for the rest of the trip. We have friends in Juneau who asked about our accommodations and I reported that the setting was beautiful! I didn't share my disappointments, because with those fixed, it would be 5 star

Breathtaking location

Absolutely beautiful location. It’s ‘out the road’ but we’ll worth the short drive from town. Quiet neighborhood right on the water. Stunning views from the deck. The host is amazing and super helpful!

Spectacular home and view

Lovely home and location with plenty of room and everything needed. Adults took master bedroom, 13yr old took the other bedroom and 10yr old took the pull out couch. Did laundry using the weighted lid trick as instructed and it worked fine. Great location to do whale watching out of Auke bay charters.

Magical week!

We enjoyed the location and wildlife at this property immensely!! We were able to see bears (mom and two cubs) and whales (mom and calf pair) daily!!! The area is absolutely stunning! It is always nice to have a clean house, kitchen, laundry facilities and comfy beds!

Our home is within the Tongass Forest, the world's largest temperate rainforest, and it's on the edge of an inlet of the Pacific Ocean, Lynn Canal, part of the Inside Passage. We enjoy seeing and hearing wildlife, seasonally ranging from songbirds and eagles to whales and bears. We're literally in the trees.
