Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Clean & well equipped with about anything you would need. Nice patio area that is fenced so you can sit outside with your pets. What ruined the stay for us was the upstairs occupants were very active, honestly you could hear every footstep, running through the house, thump & bump, this went on until almost midnight.
Very clean! Nice attention to detail! Well stocked kitchen! Highly recommend! As stated by others, we definitely heard some noise from upstairs which didn't bother us but might bother some people.
Excellent. It's a little ways from town but nav took us right to it. Great place nice enough that you would be proud to have someone come for dinner. The warm loaf of fresh bread on the counter was a great welcome.
Our stay here was delightful. The kitchen is well stocked with every tool you need to cook with. The views are beautiful.
Very clean and cheery. They had games, puzzles and books. The home baked bread was wonderful. My granddaughter got to feed chickens.
A very good experience.
Loved it.
A great place. Absolutely everything available and easy to use. Complete kitchen, utensils, appliances, three types of laundry detergent, hair dryer, lanterns, plasticware for leftovers or picnics.
Fairly dark skies for stars if couds cooperate. Highly recommend.
Beautiful.
The unit is very very large for being a 'studio' apartment.
Fresh warm bread on the counter.
Probably the best rental until on ANY nightly rental site.
10/10 recommend. Will ABSOLUTELY stay here again.
The country setting is lovely, and it's still very close to Kansas City. Check-in was smooth and our questions were answered promptly. Everything was very orderly and easy to find in this lower-level apartment.
Please note that the bedroom has no door, so if you were thinking that it did (like me), it does not. That's inconvenient when traveling with kids and everyone needs to change/nap/watch different shows at times. Other than that, it was great!
Great size place, clean, beautiful property. A couple small things I would change, there is no door on the bedroom which i found odd, and there is no way to adjust the temperature. The only way to warm the place up is a small space heater that is almost useless for the size of the space. These are very trivial things, overall it is a wonderful place to stay and we will certainly stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Awesome Sibley Studio downstairs
We rented this studio along with the main Sibley Farmhouse. The studio was beautifully decorated and was equipped with everything you would need, including its own washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, full kitchen, bathroom, its own entry if needed. It was such a comfortable and lovely home away from home. David was an excellent host and very accommodating. There are chickens and roosters, sheep, goats, cows and a crazy goose on the farm. He provides feed for you to feed the animals and can pet them, except for maybe the goose, he’s the guardian of the barn. Our grandchildren loved it. If we are back in Kansas City, we will definitely book this amazing entire home again. He even provided fresh eggs in the fridge. I would give it higher than 5 stars if I could.
The place was clean and beautiful. We even had warm bread on the counter when we arrived. Located close to Kansas City and several food options. My only issue with this property is noise. We were aware the upstairs was a seperate rental but wasn't prepared for the noise. We could hear everything they dropped and every step they took. Slamming doors. We were unable to go to sleep until they settled down and went to sleep and thay was usually after midnight. The last night the new renters were pushing and banging on the door to our unit trying to get in. Management was quick to respond to me that it was new people coming in but the noise contined for a while and by then I was wide awake until after midnight. Nice place but be prepared for noise.
We stayed here to do some fishing on the Missouri River. This location was close to the boat launch, which was nice. It was a little tough to maneuver the narrow driveway with a boat trailer, but the owner gave us permission to use the grass when needed, which was very helpful and appreciated. The complimentary farm fresh eggs and homemade bread made a great breakfast one morning. My son also had a lot of fun feeding the chickens with the feed provided. The kids also enjoyed playing the Nintendo provided in the house. The hose hooked up to the house outside was also perfect for when we were cleaning fish. You could hear the renters above us walking around when they were there, but that was expected and we just used some white noise at bedtime. We arrived after dark, so it was rather difficult to put the code in to the door on arrival, we had to use a flashlight to help, so a little light left on by the door would be helpful. The bedroom doesn't have a door, maybe due to fire codes, but that wasn't an issue for us. The pullout beds were not very comfortable, but very few are, i would bring some extra padding to sleep on next time. Overall it was a great stay above our expectations.
