Amazing stay

This VRBO was exactly what they should all be, very secure and safe, very clean and the beds were amazing. We’ve been to a number of VRBOs were the beds suck, this place they were amazing. Great location in Sherbrooke

Starting with the good: the unit was recently, tastefully decorated and very clean. All 3 beds had super comfortable mattresses; all different so guests could choose the most comfortable for them. The not so good: the unit is on the 2nd floor with a set of steep outdoor steps to climb to enter the unit. It was quite a job to lug coolers of food up those steps. They’re slippery when wet so it was even less fun getting everything out when we left in the rain.The passcode sequence given in the checkin instructions didn’t work and the owner texted to say he was unavailable to assist me. I had to wait over an hour. The tiny island for 2 is the only dining seating available (for a unit that accommodates 6) so it meant eating on the sofa. The bathtub is tucked in a corner in a way that leaves an 18-inch opening to get in and out of the tall tub. It was extremely difficult.

That said, we would like to clarify the access issue for future guests. The check-in instructions provided in the app are current and include the correct door access information. Our phone number is also available to guests for urgent assistance. The delay at arrival was not caused by missing or outdated instructions, but rather by difficulty accessing or using the instructions already provided in the app. Regarding the stairs, dining area, and bathroom layout, these are all reflected in the listing photos. This is an upper-floor, city-style apartment, and we encourage guests to review the photos carefully before booking to ensure the layout is appropriate for their needs. We work hard to provide a spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped stay, and we are glad those aspects were recognized. While we are sorry the property was not the right fit for every preference, the listing and check-in details are presented accurately for guests before arrival. Thank you again for staying with us.

It isa nice little place. The only challenge is the 30 stairs up to the apartment. Wasnt included in description when renting. Tried reaching out to landlord to get air conditioner working but never got a response.

Cute place

This was a cute, newly renovated place that has nice features and small thoughtful touches. It was really hot out and the a/c on the top floor where the bedrooms were was helpful. However, there was one negative that is not the owner's fault, but really took away from our stay. The smell of cigarette smoke - the downstairs/other tenants clearly smoke a lot and it permeated the unit. Our clothes smelled when we left. Very unfortunate bc it's a cute place and not much the owner can do about this.

Nice place but disappointing start.

We arrived at the property to find that the place had not been cleaned. Sheets were not changed, the garbage was not taken out, floors not cleaned, dishwasher dirty, counters dirty. We contacted the host and he was apologetic and had a cleaner come in shortly thereafter, but it delayed the check-in process by 4 hours. Outside of that, it is a nice place in downtown Sherbrooke. Do note however that there is no parking at the accommodation and you will have to park your car on the street - in a shadier part of the city. The stairs up to the accommodation are quite rickety as well.

L'appartement est bien situé. Les chambres sont très grandes et les lits confortables. Un bruit constant d'écoulement dans les tuyaux du voisin, est très dérangeant pendant la nuit. La cuisine est complète, mais il n'y a pas de salle à manger. Il y a seulement 2 petits bancs au comptoir. Malheureusement le lave-vaisselle était non fonctionnel. La communication est déficiente. Le propriétaire n'a pas répondu aux courriels envoyés. L'escalier, pour accéder à l'appartement, est très long et dangereux, une marche a cédé en descendant les bagages. Il y a un stationnement facilement accessible dans la rue.

Excellent endroit

Endroit parfait pour une belle fin de semaine relaxe entre amie. Tout le nécessaire était à notre disposition pour passer un agréable moment. En plus, il y a un dépanneur directement en bas de l'appartement. Endroit très propre.
