Looking for a getaway with your group or family? Bushland Escape is nestled in a bush setting on acreage with space to relax and enjoy.

Location.
We're conveniently located in Moruya, close to shops, the beach, mountain bike trails, golf, fishing, making it easy to enjoy the best of both worlds—natural bushland and local attractions.

Room to Play and Relax
There's space for outside games like badminton, croquet, or just kicking a ball around. Relax in the pergola with a lounge and spa or gather around the large fire pit under the stars. We are situated on 17 rural acres, and the house you will be staying in is at the rear of the property looking out over farmland and Moruya River in the distance. There is plenty of private space for you to relax and enjoy. The acreage also has a seperate farm shed and house on other parts of the property which are seperate to your space.

Home Away from Home
Inside, you'll find a large kitchen, or cook on the BBQ and dine alfresco. The open plan layout makes it easy to hang out together. We’ve got plenty of parking space too, so no worries if you're bringing bikes, or boats!

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
While we do allow some gatherings with registered guests only, please be respectful of the space.
Noise is to be kept to a quiet level after midnight, and a respectful level at all other times.
As we are on tank water, a $50 fee applies if the spa needs to be drained and refilled due to misuse.

Great property. Booked this for a bucks. It had pllenty of room for everyone to relax and havecsome drinks.. Fireplace inside was lit for our arrival which was great. Fire pit outside was prepared ready to be lit. I will definitely stay here again if i am back in the area for a trip away

Another fabulous few days at the Bushland Escape. The fire was on when we arrived it made the house so cosy. Five ladies, each with our own rooms. The house has everything you could possibly want for a getaway, it is ideal for our needs. Sonya and Michael are fabulous hosts.

A perfect spot

The location is beautiful and the hosts are super welcoming! We celebrated a 40th with a few friends, so looked for a spot which allows parties. This place is perfect for a small one. Everything at the property was just as described and the hosts were so lovely, only met them once when topping up wood for the fire and encouraged us to party louder if we wanted. Awesome place, thank you!

Magnolias Getaway

A group who catch up every year for a few days. We found the house and property fabulous, everything you could possibly want and wish for. The beds were very comfy and the wood fire made it cosy. Looking out the back at the cows was just so relaxing, and the property was quite also. There was four ladies in our group(usually five) and we hope to visit again.

Family friends holiday

We loved our stay- this spacious house is well stocked with all necessary equipment and amenities.We found it perfect for our 3 families with 6 rambunctious boys, with a huge back yard for games, a relaxing deck for afternoon drinks, and a fire pit for late nights. Special thanks for the welcoming nature and friendly message check ins from the owners, and not to mention, special touches like having the fire wood graded from kindling to heavy logs- these special touches were well appreciated. We look forward to coming back again.

The Perfect Getaway!

If you are looking for a place to stay, stop looking and book here! This place was truly amazing!! Myself and a bunch of my friends and partners went on a trip to the Bushland Escape to play hundreds of board games and just hang out as friends! This place truly had everything to offer!!! From our arrival to checkout it was flawless; highlights include and not exclusive to, the fire pit, the property itself with all its games and outdoor activities, the kitchen and its plentiful utensils and the the stargazing! The house has everything you could possibly want, ample beds with high quality bedding, electric blankets for the winter and further blankets if need be, pristine bathrooms and a beautiful living room with endless lighting both in the day and at night. My friends and I have decided that this location be a tradition now because of how incredible it was!!! But we made a promise, we would book for longer next time because we all want to stay there more!!
