The rental was clean and well maintained, there were nice extras and they supplied soaps and some coffee. We were two older adults staying there, my only issues were an overly soft mattress and stairs that were very shallow and difficult to use. The nearby neighborhood was very nice for walking our dogs.

Great stay across from the beach!

The property was so nice for our getaway. The unit was clean and cozy and offered everything we needed for our stay. Being able to just walk across the street to the beach or a short drive to the beautiful downtown area. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a nice pet friendly stay!

Great location, Well maintained

We enjoyed our first visit to Amelia Island and felt fortunate to find this rental. It was clean, well maintained and stocked, and in a great location. We walked and easily biked to restaurants, shopping and state park, and being across the street from the beach made it so convenient to come and go without a drive/parking.

Very convenient and comfortable.

Located right across from the beach- about a 5 minute walk to sand. Easy to park and load/unload the car right in front of the door or take a dog out. Beds are comfortable and lots of nice touches. Great location on the island.

Townhouse was nicely located - a little further from the beach than we anticipated. House could use a little work - front door was broken but nothing we couldn’t live with.

Quick walk to the Beach

Great place and a stone's throw away from beach access #2. The most comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and nice layout. Although it was too cold to enjoy the balcony - I can see it as a nice plus! Having the separate laundry room allowed us to store our bikes out of the weather. Would rent again!

Perfect location, lovely stay.

Had a wonderful experience at this property. Overall the location was perfect, just walking distance from Main Beach and the Salt Life restaurant. Driving distance to the historic downtown -everything pretty close. Over all on the property, it was really helpful to have laundry. The bathroom was a bit outdated a spot that needed a fix, but nothing major. Very relaxing and what we needed for a girls weekend meetup. Thank you!

Great spot!

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding weekend. The unit was exactly as advertised and communication with the manager was straightforward. Super quick and easy walk to the nearest beach access. Easy parking. Clear and detailed directions for check in and check out processes. They were so kind to leave us a tasty treat from Fantastic Fudge and a note congratulating us on our marriage! We would absolutely recommend this place to others.

This property was a overall great experience. Clean, good location and quiet. Pros: - Walking distance to beach if you do not have too many items to carry - Clean - Quiet - Sleeps 4-6 (bring an air mattress) - Great communication from property management - Amenities you wouldn't get with a hotel - Pet friendly Cons - Not enough toiletries (make sure you bring extra toilet paper) - Main bathroom could use some upgrade (i.e shower head to short and other items could use updating.) - Smart TV's had YouTube TV logged in only in the master bedroom All-in-all I would suggest this to a small family, couples or group of adult friends wanting a nice place to stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Good stay at the beach

Although not directly across from a public beach access, a beach wagon was provided so we could easily make the short walk to the beach with the chairs and towels provided. The unit is exactly as advertised—nicely remodeled; no frills but has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoy taking our dog to the beach, and this unit had a hose at the door so we could clean her (and us) off when we got back. The only cons are that the blender doesn’t work the best and the stairs are a bit tight/steep, but we expected that from previous reviews.

The condo was mostly clean I wish I had not look under the master bed..so many dust balls. It was close enough to the beach ..we could either walk or drive as there was some beach parking. The condo was adequate, the pictures made it look more stylish than it is. The outside of the building looked like a motel 6..could use some updating. I think the most negative part was the water..it’s well water and smells horrible. We went through 2 cases of bottled water..no way I would drink it ..enough we had to bathe in it. We had a relaxing week so thank you..but we wont be returning.

While we appreciate your honest feedback, our Destination Amelia team was very surprised to receive this negative feedback, especially given we had communicated with you so much and you chose to extend your stay too. If there are ever any cleaning concerns, our housekeeping team would love the opportunity to make it right, as we are active in this area on the island every day. They would have been happy to stop by on your first day and address any dust bunnies missed and run the hot water for you (all that's needed as it's common in our area when units are not used for a few weeks and water sits in hot water heater.) We sincerely apologize for this unpleasant surprise and you feeling like you needed to buy water. We hope you know for the future that you can touch base absolutely anytime! As for the accuracy of the photos, we do believe the outside of the townhouse is displayed accurately and while the inside might have minor changes (like a new rug or different brightness/natural lighting depending on the time of the day), we firmly believe the photos are high quality and fair. This is why nearly all of our guests select "listing accuracy" for reasons they like our unit after checkout and two recent reviewers specifically commented that the unit was "exactly as advertised." We're glad you had a restful beach week overall in spite of your concerns and genuinely wish you the best.

Pandemic getaway

We had a great time. There were a couple of very minor issues with the condo. Overall it was very comfortable and clean. This was especially important to us because we were not doing much besides hanging out ant the townhouse and going to the beach due to social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. We loved the convenient short walk to the beach, without the price tag associated with staying "on the beach." The beach cart, chairs, and towels were helpful. The water hoses were great after a day at the beach. We loved having easy access to the laundry and the space inside the condo for our bikes. The kitchen was small, but had everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortably sized. The bedsheets were soft and the bath towels were clean and fluffy. We would stay here again on a future trip to Amelia Island and we would definitely recommend the unit to friends and family.
