Desert Getaway

The location is perfect! You're close to grocery stores, local restaurants, and any shopping you'd want to do! The tennis courts were well maintained and available whenever we wanted to play. We enjoyed our rental and appreciated the ease of check in and communication with the manager.

Had a wonderful time with our team playing Sr. Cup tennis and the condo met all our needs. It was great to be able to practice on the courts before our matches and use the hot tub to ease our aches and pains after a full day of tennis. Daniel, the owner, was friendly, responsive and answered our questions in a timely manner.

great disappontment

I clearly told resident manager that I was an above knee amputee and would use a wheelchair in the condo. I even gave him dimensions. Unfortunately, the wheelchair didn't fit through the bathroom door. I even rented a smaller one which had difficulty getting through the bathroom door. So I placed it inside the bathroom and would switch wheelchairs when I go to the bathroom. It was a horrible experience, and it was costly. The resident manager tried to be helpful. Otherwise the condo was very nice but I won't use Vrbo unless they specify it they are ADA approved!! Not happy at all!! Jonathan Yorck

I am so sorry that the guest had an awful experience. He mentioned that he was an above-the-knee amputee, and we discussed the unit numerous times prior to his decision to book the reservation. If he had only asked if the unit met all ADA accessible specifications, I would have informed him that it does not, as it was built in the early 1980's, long before the ADA was passed in 1990. Additionally, I would have encouraged him to look into one of the large hotels in the region, most of which offer accessible rooms. Even newer mid-sized hotels offer accessible rooms. My villa is clearly a poor choice for a guest with his needs.

We stayed here for a tennis tournament and it was the perfect location for us. Daniel is the most responsive and helpful host we have ever had and we would gladly stay here again! The unit is spotless (and I am very sensitive to odors but couldn’t detect any at all), and is a great location for the Indian Wells Tennis Center.

Great Place for R&R

We traveled to Palm Desert in February to escape the PNW rain and couldn’t have been more pleased. The thing that sets this condo apart from others that we have rented is that it is very spacious. All of the rooms are large. It is also very clean and the owner Dan couldn’t have been more pleasant to work with. We loved walking around the Desert Breezes complex, the grounds are beautiful and well kept. The grass is lush, tons of fragrant flowers and beautiful citrus trees. The proximity of the condo to the main pool and tennis courts is very convenient. Other amenities (restaurants, shopping, groceries etc.) are just a quick drive. Glad we chose this condo for our trip!

I purchased this property because I attend the BNP Paribas Tennis Championships at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden every year for nearly 20 years, which is a short walk from the gates. Actually, in the earliest years of my attendance at the tournament, the venue had been at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort, also in Indian Wells. And I would drive by and wonder what this resort was all about. One look, and I was immediately interested in ownership.

Why they chose this property

This is a resort where you can play tennis, swim at the pool, soak in the Jacuzzi, work out at the gym, play golf at one of the more than 100 courses in the Coachella Valley, take in live entertainment, game at casinos, or even just kick back and relax. There is just so much to do that it cannot all be listed here.

What makes this property unique

The views of the palm trees and the Santa Rosa Mountains are spectacular and very relaxing. And the proximity to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden cannot be beat. Also, the cities of La Quinta and Indian Wells are at your finger tips.
