Is it a beach day? Hiking in the sunshine? Kayaking or shopping? Coffee on the deck watching the birds? This clean and bright apartment is close to everything you may want to do!! Shopping, antiquing, great restaurants, hiking, biking, sight seeing, beaches, Bar Harbor Airport (BHB), Acadia National Park, bird sanctuary, close to lamoine beach. It is very centrally located yet quiet and private in a wooded setting!

The apartment is a NEWLY renovated open concept second floor apartment with two bedrooms, one bathroom. The master bedroom has a king sized bed with lots of storage and a TV. The the second bedroom has two double beds, lots of storage and a TV!! , plenty of seating for family game night or watching the news on the flat screen TV. There is AC through out the apartment for those warmer summer days!
The kitchen appliances are all NEW. There is plenty of dishes, pots, pans, utensils to cook if you want to!! There are 2 coffee pots, a keurig and a drip kind. The owner supplies spices, coffee, tp, paper towels, shampoo, and soap.
This is CLEAN, spacious family space, beautifully decorated in nautical themes. You have access to the garage for parking, and a washer and dryer on the first floor off of the garage.
This is a luxurious space meticulously maintained by the owner. He is very attentive to guests, if there is anything you may need while you are here!! Check out the guest book at the house for additional information on the area, maps, and brochures.

We loved staying at the Hidden Gem as a home base for exploring the area. We enjoyed that it was off the beaten path and was spacious and clean. The washing machine was a huge plus in the middle of our trip, and we were prepared with quarters and a travel detergent. James was super helpful and provided some great local suggestions.

James was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.During our stay, we experienced our very first nor’easter which altered our travel plans home. James went out of his way to call and check in and make sure we had everything we needed. That level of thoughtfulness and care really meant a lot to us.As if that wasn’t enough, James surprised us with a homemade blueberry pie, and it was absolutely incredible! It was such a thoughtful and delicious touch that made our stay even more special.We couldn’t have asked for a better host. James truly made us feel at home, and we would absolutely recommend staying with him. We would happily stay here again!

We so appreciated James and his in person greeting as we arrived and his great recommendations for places to eat and to visit in area and in Acadia. Very clean, cozy and comfortable apartment! Perfect Acadia Area Spot

We hiked Acadia, traveled to Quoddy Lighthouse, Lubic and to Nubble lighthouse. This was such a retreat to come back to in the evenings.James provides extra touches that truly make you feel like his personal guest.

Great Vacation.

Place was clen and very well prepared for us. Apartment is very nice and comfortable to stay, a lot of dishes, glasses and cups to use, the owner was very nice, kind and welcoming. Highly recommended place to stay wtth the family or friends at any time of the year.
