A peaceful retreat 2 minutes from Piazza Navona

Away from the hustle and bustle of Rome while still being on one of the city center’s most sought-after streets: it’s the magic of the accommodation you’ve just picked! While the windows for the dining and living room overlook Via del Governo Vecchio, one of the liveliest alleys this side of the Vatican (giving you the chance for some great people-watching!), the sleeping quarters have been designed specifically to face a quiet inner courtyard, and no noise from the nearby restaurants will be able to perturb you! Recently renovated while maintaining some of the elements from the original Baroque-era building (like its front-door or the shutters on the windows), the entrance for the flat is at street level, but the actual apartment is reached by climbing a set of stairs with exactly 20 steps, so it’s not recommended for guests with disabilities. At the top of the stairs, the flat will welcome you with a living room with its adjoining dining room and their mix of antique and more contemporary furniture (please note that the sofa is not a foldable bed). A kitchen is also available, complete with gas-fired oven, microwave oven, a dishwasher machine, a kettle and a Nespresso machine, as well as a more traditional Moka coffee pot: small but fully-furnished, this is the perfect space to retreat and prepare your meals from scratch when in Rome. From here you can also access a small service balcony where you can find the containers for the garbage collection and, if you so wish, where you will be able to dry your laundry. From the living room, follow the hallway which leads to the bathroom and the two bedrooms, both with ample wardrobe space. You will find a clotheshorse and ironboard in the cupboard in the guest room, with its two single beds. The master bedroom features a memory foam mattress for your complete relaxation, as well as memory foam pillows. Every room in the apartment is equipped with A/C, and the apartment features a TV (Italian satellite channels only). All of our guests will have a complimentary Wi-Fi connection available while in the apartment.
