7 adults & 3 dogs had a fabulous stay! We cooked 3 of our meals here and everything was great! Place is amazing, everything was just as stated. A really great space to stay!
This place is nice for family activities and enjoyment. The backyard is amazing for enjoyment and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and accommodating to all of the family.
The house and backyard were spacious with plenty of room for our family of 6 and our dog. Had to message the host a few times and he was very quick to respond and helpful. Overall a great place to stay and close to everywhere we wanted to go
Had a great time at the home. Was super easy to check in and minimal chores needed to check out which made it low stress. The backyard is amazing and the kids hung out there for most of our trip. Would return!
We visited Spokane for a family reunion and three generations stayed at the house. It was just as advertised and the kids loved the pickle ball and basketball in the backyard. Check in and out were effortless and the house had everything we needed.
We loved staying here! The home was clean, quiet, spacious, and had a well stocked kitchen. The backyard was incredible! Everyone enjoyed playing pickleball and basketball. We even had some visits from the wild peacocks! Perfect location for us, close to Riverside State Park. A great find in Spokane, we will definitely try to stay here again.
This property was exactly what was on the website. The property is so roomy. The back yard is fantastic. The house is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. The Peacocks are all over the place so fun!!! It was less than a mile to Riverside State Park. This Park is a must see if in the area. We went to Spokane River Front Park it is great place to visit. We really enjoyed our visit.
I don’t remember seeing anything in the listing about peacocks on or near the property, but there were three constantly around. They were fun to look at but noisy. The place was very clean, the kitchen lacks some supplies like baking dishes. Backyard was the highlight, it was amazing.
Came to town to visit our daughter's lil family... gkids and her new baby. Our other adult kids joined. Although it was cold, everyone played outside in the fully fenced backyard with sports court and nearby firepit. It was super pet friendly. Our family needed that for the fur babies we brought with us!
Thank you for letting us stay. We would like to come back.
This was a fun, relaxing home that suited the needs of a multigenerational family. The kitchen is lovely, ample seating and conversations areas inside and out, huge bedrooms with comfortable beds, and the most fun backyard ever!!!! We will want to come again!!!
We absolutely loved this house. Plenty of room inside and comfortable beds. We were there when it was in the 90s and it stayed cool inside and in all of the bedrooms. But the yard is what really makes this place amazing. We hardly went inside at all, except to sleep. Its beautiful and private and so much fun. We played basketball and picked ball every day and long into the night. The peacocks were an added delight. We also loved the location as it was walking distance to the river and trails to walk along. We couldn't have asked for a better place. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Had a great stay with extended family all in town for a Memorial. We had such a nice time sitting on the back deck drinking wine and reminiscing. Thanks for the use of your home! Karen and family.

Deferred Maintenance
At first entry of the home we were impressed by the spacious layout, but
the photos on this listing are old. I booked and paid for this house in full a year in advance, baited by the photos on the listing. This house has deferred maintenance issues. The host was quick to respond, but we just kept finding multiple problems. We let the host come clean and make some repairs during our stay. Be aware that the pillows and mattress covers are stained from previous use!! Upon departure the bathroom sink was leaking, the ice maker was over flowing with ice and we could not shut it off, the dishwasher wouldn’t start and we were told to take the garbage out upon our check out, but the can outside was over flowing.
Way over priced for the location and condition. No offer of accommodation on what we paid for having been inconvenienced during our short 3 day stay.

Response from VrboOwner on 30 May 2022
I appreciate all feedback and take hosting very seriously. A new dishwasher has been installed. Two new 55" smart tvs were installed within hours of Rachels complaint. The garbage can outside is shared and can get full, it is common practice to leave a bag next to the can. The pillows and mattress covered were inspected. The ice machine is no longer producing too much ice and the bathroom faucet was tightened. - Jake Hanson, host
Enjoyed having a comfortable home to return to after short trips to Idaho and Montana. Lots of fun exploring Spokane, geocaching, and learning about its history. One thing we were able to do which is worth going to is the Campbell House in Browns Addition!!
The Parkway neighborhood is quiet and so close to beautiful views of the river. The highlight for us were the peacocks💚🦚💙!!! They actually are not bothersome, we got many photos of them fanning proudly! Any questions were answered immediately by the host and the home has everything you would need.
This was our second Christmas in this home. We love the neighborhood/ location and are very comfortable just hanging out, cooking, and going for walks. The house has a neat layout too!
I love that the property was rustic. This weekend was a mans get together. The property fit us well and was super creative. We all had a great time. Would definitely stay here again!
Great house with basketball court and close to the river
House was big and clean. Yard was fabulous with deck, patio, sport court, basket ball hoop and balls. There were beautiful peacocks wandering the neighborhood. At end of block is a road that goes along the riverbluff with beautiful views of Spokane river. There is a about grocery store about 5 min away for groceries. You might want to bring your own pickle ball paddles if you are serious players. It is a short drive to trail heads at Riverside State park. And not far from town. Would stay there again but sadly it's booked for the dates I want next spring.
