Wonderful condo on the beach, pictures are exactly as listed, check in was nice and easy, I did have an issue with the property dryer but that was resolved when I called the maintenance man(Kevin). Only issue my family had was the WiFi was terrible, but overall condo was nice.

We spent a week in condo 15 of royal plum condos. We had the upper floor end unit, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. Although the condo's furniture and the bath in the master bedroom were very outdated, and worn out, we still enjoyed our stay. The beach was cleaned of sargassum every morning making swimming in the ocean and playing on the beach easily accessible, and the pool was heavenly. Mary was very helpful and easy to contact.

Mary was the best host we have ever met. After a long day of traveling, we were welcomed to the beautiful condo with a key lime pie in the fridge. Mary was sweet enough to let us use her pickle ball and tennis rackets. She made a few trips to drop items off for us. The condo had the most amazing views and was decorated so cute. We appreciated the cleanliness and wanted to stay forever! 100/10

Very nice unit. Dated but comfortable and clean. Great location - on the beach, nice pool.

While the unit is a bit dated, the beds and all furniture are comfy. Very spacious too, so that you don't feel like you are on top of each other. Kitchen remodeled. Not top of the line but good enough. I would recommend maybe a few more kitchen items - like a cookie sheet. But they are very accomodating there - on-site prop mgr. as well as mgmt co (dolphin).

It is good to know that you were so comfortable and enjoyed the spaciousness. To have two screened balconies right on the ocean is certainly a huge plus for relaxation and experiencing the relaxing sounds of the ocean. I'm glad you found our service at Dolphin to be accomodating. I have been renting condos for about twenty years with the goal that my guests are always happy with their experience. Unit was dated and lacked ceiling fans. Would be nice if there was a washer and dryer in the unit. Perhaps beach towels could be provided and small cooler for beverages. Just small items which had to be purchased being we traveled by air.

Thank you for your suggestions. I'm sorry you didn't call me. I would have been happy to bring you beach towels and a cooler. The owner has spent about $35,000 on the unit in the last year or so and has done a lot of remodeling including the new ceiling fan in the living area. Washer/dryers are not permitted inside the units but there is the laundry room on site for guest use.

Birds of paradise condo

This was our first time staying in the keys for a week and we were not sure where to stay. We chose this complex because it was not in a busy area and had a public beach next to it that we were able to take walks on. There was just two of us and we did not need the three bedroom condo but chose it due to it being an end unit that has two balconies with one being about 50’ from the ocean. The condo was a little dated and the master bath defiantly showed it’s age. The kitchen appears to have been recently remodeled and looks nice. Overall, the condo was clean, well stocked and we did not have any issues. The complex grounds were well kept and clean . The pool was larger than most and heated. We did have a small issue with one of the dryers but the on-site management resolved the issue quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Girls trip

The location was amazing, beautiful views. Ocean front with pool right outside the door. The condo was nice, dated. Many vertical blinds missing from the living room and master bedroom. Location is great in the middle of the Keys, not far to the grocery and places to eat. The only major issue is with the condo was the A/C. At first the condo would only get to 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Contacted Mary and she suggested tips. Didn't help. Talked to her on multiple occasions. She finally sent someone out on Wednesday and they got it fixed on Thursday. Wednesday night was miserable 83 degrees all night. Check out time is.very early 9am. Only 2 towels per bedroom, not enough with no washer and dryer in condo. No bath mats, 4 wash rags, only 2 beach towels for 6 people in a 3 bedroom condo. Overall a great trip.

Bird of Paradise is in a small condo complex of 35 apartments and is an end unit directly on the beach. Bird of Paradise has two spacious king bedrooms and a bedroom with two twin beds. There is a new kitchen with stainless appliances. The living area is large and comfortable. Because Bird of Paradise is an end unit it has two balconies overlooking endless ocean views. There is private groomed beach, large swimming pool located right on the beach front, and a tennis court. From the condo you can walk about a mile of natural shoreline to a nearby public beach. Private groomed beach, public beach, and natural beach all from your door step. Sunrise views on morning beach walks are amazing. Since this condo is not on a through street and has a beautiful path it is great for walking, biking, and jogging. Bird of Paradise is a very tropical waterfront setting for relaxing yet is still convenient to all Keys activities, restaurants, and sight seeing.
