This was our second time staying at The Yaquina Bay House, and it feels like home. We absolutely love it and look forward to returning soon. Wendy is a fabulous host, she treats everyone like a friend. Shari, Colin & Alyssa Walter
The home was set up well for our group and had lots of extra blankets and pillows. It is in a very quiet area but had what we needed close by. The host was very gracious to us even when we unknowingly left a mess for them to handle. The porch was a great place to hang out and play games as a family. Highly recommend.
Worth the stay! Low water pressure in shower. Slight mold odor. Bedroom smelled of pet pee on the rug so we left all windows open. Found a TV in the bedroom that worked!

We weren't able to find any pet accidents on the rug but it has been replaced nevertheless. The shower is a "rain shower" head so it isn't designed for hard water pressure. We will definitely take this into consideration though and think about possibly changing the shower head in the future. We appreciate your feedback
House was perfect for a group. Only complaints were for the only 2 rolls of toilet paper for four people for 6 days. The amount of dog hair that hadn't been swept up. And finding someone's dirty socks in one of the beds. I would suggest hiring a new house cleaner.

I am truly sorry about this. Our housekeeper hired a helper which would explain these missed issues. I am going to discuss things with them right away!
This is our second stay and will continue to keep this house in mind when we visit the area! The house has plenty of sleeping space for our family and location is great.
Really enjoyed our stay! House was very cozy with comfortable beds, beautiful views and a good home base for exploring the Oregon coast.Communication with the host was seamless and access to the property could not have been easier.
Excellent host! Very responsive! It is a very comfortable home, great shower, bed, living room furniture with view of Yaquina river. Very quiet! Watching the light come up in the morning is a special treat! We will return!!!
We loved staying here, and the owner is wonderful. If you're looking for peace and quiet only minutes from the coast, this is the place for you. We would definitely stay here again.
Very quiet and somewhat secluded. Old cottage built in 1940 with more recent upgrades. We would stay there again if we are in the area. The owners took care to make it family friendly with beach and nautical accents.
We absolutely loved this spot. The scenery was beautiful and it was so fun to watch the deer eat apples at the neighbors. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck. Such a cute place, very comfortable and cozy. It was also impeccably clean. We would most definitely stay here again.
Cozy rustic home with great views and great location. Wendy was a kind and thoughtful host. Something came up after our stay and she was so nice about it. Would definitely stay again!

Thank you for your kind words! Glad you enjoyed your stay!
If you're looking for an amazing place to stay while on your Oregon Coast vacation, this place checks all the boxes. I have stayed at several rentals over the years and have never felt as home as we did stay here. The house was clean and comfortable and has everything you need for your stay, the views were amazing and its just a few minutes from our favorite Oregon town, Newport. I cant recommend this place enough, and we plan to make this our yearly retreat.
