We enjoyed the views from the porch every morning. The location was a short drive to the main street in Black Mountain. There was plenty of space for two people to spend a get away weekend together.great host, well equipped kitchen, and everything that was listed was providedThanks for a great experience!

The cabin was charming, peaceful, and easy to access. It felt private without being so secluded that I felt completely isolated. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the cabin was thoughtfully stocked with everything I needed. The hosts were very responsive and made the entire stay easy and enjoyable. We would gladly stay here again!

The cabin was very nice and very clean, but it was right on a busy road with only the driveway separating the cabin from the road which I wasn't expecting. The view of the mountain was good and the hosts were great! I would recommend it to others.

Everything was perfect, everything we needed. The downtown was amazing! Trailhead had food that was Every bit as delicious and price is right than a high end restaurant. I recommend to anyone for a great, peaceful experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the “Hoot Owl” cabin for 4 nights! The scenery was a beautiful farm setting in the mountains. We didn’t spend much time inside, as we were porch-sitters with the lovely surroundings. The inside of the cabin had a full-service, modern kitchen area which I used and loved.The location was close to town and Montreat. This is a great place to de-stress!Yes, we would recommend and return.

Very relaxing, comfortable, clean. Fire pit was great to relax around in the evening. loved the record player. Will definitely go back in the future.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely book this cabin again! It's an easy five-star review from us. The few "cons" are very minor and didn't take away from our experience at all. The highlights far outweighed any small inconveniences.Pros:-The covered porch with chairs and small tables offers a beautiful view. Our favorite part was relaxing outside and listening to the cows from the neighboring dairy farm.-Nice fire pit with firewood provided.-Spotlessly clean throughout the cabin.-Comfortable bed with great pillows. The hosts mention that all of the bedding is freshly washed, and it definitely felt that way.-Conveniently located just a short drive from Black Mountain, a charming town with plenty of great restaurants and shops.-Well-equipped full kitchen with a dishwasher and full-size refrigerator and icemaker.-Clean bathroom with a spacious shower.Cons (very minor):-The cabin is located off a main road, but the traffic noise inside was minimal.-There isn't a dedicated dining area. There's a very small table with stools stored underneath, so we ended up using the tray tables for meals, which worked fine.-There is a grill available, but it's a campfire-style grill located very close to the road. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and relaxing place near Black Mountain with beautiful views, this is an excellent choice.
