Very nice, well appointed house across the street from beautiful Highland lake. Great location to explore the northwestern part of the state. Would definitely stay again!
This property was the perfect place for us. Clean, bright, large rooms, good water pressure in the shower, on the lake. Location location location. The owners have done a very nice job as renters. Congrats to them :)
Location to water can't be beat. The property was very clean and spacious. Just a stones throw to downtown restaurants and such. Met some friendly neighbors while walking around the lake. I would definitely like to stay at this property in the future.
Very nice house. Right across the street from the beach. Very easy access. Boat ramp is very close by. Plenty of space in the driveway for our pickup truck and boat trailer. Great place to stay if you are looking to spend some time on the lake.
My wife and I stayed at The Inn while visiting our son and family during Christmas. We found the house very accommodating for our needs. It is well equipped and very clean. Thermostat takes a bit getting use to. We would consider staying here again.

Roger and his wife stayed at the Inn for Christmas visiting family in the area. They were great guests, he contacted me when his trip was delayed and left my place very clean. My husband and I are always available if needed to assist with the thermostat or any other questions our guests may have.
We stayed 1st floor ... the house was very clean and well-appointed, soaps and such provided, plenty of towels and extra bedding. Check-in and access were seamless. The view of the lake is wonderful and the house has a screened-in front porch to sit and check it out. Actually my first experience with this type of lodging and I loved it.
We stayed for one month at The Inn at Highland Lake on the first floor. From beginning to end it was a great experience. The rental was spotless when we got there, was really roomy, and had everything we needed. The owners, Eric and Jeanne, were very welcoming and were available right away for any questions we had.
When Our grandkids visited they really enjoyed the water right across the street and we all enjoyed the wonderful porch. The location is great for walking and close to anything you need along with a lot of good restaurants. We really enjoyed everything about this rental and will definitely be back next year.
My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Highland Lake. We were both pleasantly surprised at the spacious rooms and views. Jeanne and Eric were very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to meet them. We live in Florida now and came to Connecticut to visit family and friends. There were a lot of new memories made there and my son and son-in-laws enjoyed fishing and water skiing on the lake. it was wonderful to have a boat tie up right at the property. If you are looking for a great place to stay, this is highly recommended!!!!!!

Mary and Ty were wonderful guests. They stayed for a month visiting family. They left my place very clean!
Perfect for our visit to our children and grand children. The lake is across the street with the marina next door. Rented a pontoon boat, at a discounted rate for beautiful day with the kids. Minor problem getting in initially, but resolved by Jeanne quickly. Note that this is a renovated lake residence which has a second story rental which can get a bit noisy and the bathroom is in the rear of the house with the bedroom in the front. Overall will be returning in the future.
