We had a great stay at the cabin. There wasn’t anything that we needed that wasn’t available. We ate in quite a bit and there were plenty of pans and utensils for cooking. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets for the extra sofa bed downstairs! Pat and Sofia are quick to respond if needed as well! Overall a wonderful experience! We even had a bear right up on the front porch! My daughter said it was the best trip of her life.

Excellent cabin (if you don't mind steep driveways)

This was our second time to stay here and we couldn't have been more pleased. The fact that there are two woodburning fireplaces is what keeps us coming back. The location is fantastic also. The hosts were very quick to respond to our needs during our stay, so we will definitely be back again!

Tranquil cabin

The cabin is lovely even better that the online pictures show. Sophia, the host responded within minutes of being contacted. You can sit on the porch and safely see bears. Also as over people have said, the driveway is a challenge but there is parking at street level near the cabin.

This cabin has so much going for it.Pros:- Great layout with main living space on first floor and entire second floor as main bedroom- Laundry and kitchen well stocked (although not a single seasoning or oil, even salt and pepper, were there. We shopped for groceries and ate in several times. Fridge ice maker works!)- Bed had cushy topper some people may love but we removed it and found the mattress very comfy on its own.- Hot tub available on deck- Driveway has 2 spots, enabling you to turn around for ease of exit.- Beautiful area on the mountain with sunrise views if you walk up and down the street. An obstructed view is visible out of the upstairs bedroom.- TVs worked well and had cable networks as well as streaming.Cons:- Humidity in the cabin was above 80% our entire stay, which owner says is normal in the area so we can't fault them. It was just challenging that our boots wouldn't dry after getting wet during a rainy hike.- Sheets were synthetic, which we find makes it difficult to regulate body temp and get a good sleep. Would have preferred cotton or at least notice so we could have brought cotton sheets.- Driveway is super steep (standard for the area) and even our SUV labored to get up but we are also not accustomed to this steep of a slope. The roads leading to the cabin are also windy with blind hills and steep drop-offs on the sides. Say your prayers and cross your fingers. :) We were still happy to avoid the congestion of downtown Gatlinburg.

A great experience A+

Great cabin in the mountains. The entire process was extremely hassle free! Make sure you have coffee filters or take your own keurig. If you do have to leave early for coffee watch out for the bears!

The cabin was very nice and clean. But the view from the porch was of a over filled dumpster with garbage all over the ground around it. Also, we have an AWD Honda Pilot and we couldn’t get up the driveway to the cabin. We parked across the road at another property and walked up to our cabin. We stayed the first night but didn’t go back. We booked a hotel room at the Marriott in Gatlinburg for the remaining nights.

Our stay was relaxing!

Very clean cabin with lots of personal touches. Conviences were carefully thought out, and the hosts were prompt and very nice. The fireplaces were wonderful! A couple things would have improved our stay. A king sized bed perhaps, with a more comfortable mattress? The outside lights weren't working, which made it hard to see at night. The hot tub leaked, requiring us to add water to it before each use. The driveway was very steep, which could be hazardous during rain or snow. Overall it was a nice stay and relaxing!

Loved it!

This cabin was a perfect home away from home. It was so cozy and welcoming and very clean. Perfect location! I will add, in the description of the cabin, the owners state the driveway is steep and yes it is. We were in a Tahoe and still drug a little getting out. Also, our GPS took us a little past the cabin which led us to having to turn around. Just pay attention to the flowers on the porch and you’ll be fine in case this were to happen to you.

Awesome Cabin

Everything about this cabin was perfect, from the location, to the two wood burning fireplaces, to the hot tub outside, and the communication with the property owner! Only thing I will say, is if you plan on going during the winter months, be sure you’ve got 4wheel drive! The owner did send someone out to shovel our driveway and put ice melt on the driveway, but even with that the driveway was so steep we needed 4wheel to get up. Don’t let the driveway detour you from booking with her though, the cabin is absolutely perfect!!! Just don’t show up in a Toyota Prius, because you may not make it up :) we will definitely be back!!

Great Basics but Reluctant hospitality

This is a hard review to write because the overall design of the house is lovely and comfortable. The upstairs suite is especially inviting. The location is excellent for those wanting to use the national park. But there were some very off-putting things about the house that led us to feel that the owners really didn't care about the rental or welcoming visitors. Few were big but added together it was irritating. Some things just didn't work. The front burner on the stove didn't function, The bathtub spa upstairs had jets that didn't work. The hot water heater couldn't deliver enough hot water to do more than warm your feet. Some things just felt penny-pinching. There were only 2 table knives and a few forks. The knife set was terribly dull. There was absolutely nothing stocked i the refrigerator or cupboards. No type of cooking oil, spices, or even waters. Bare bones. Even the coffee supplies consisted of exactly 1 filter for each day we stayed and three dreadful coffee packets that were supposed to be for 4 but really made only 2 cups if you wanted more than brown water. Not even salt and pepper. I couldn't find the hair dryer anywhere and contacted the host twice with no replies. We DID have a reply early when I lost the key code directions from my phone and she did reply immediately for which I was grateful. The driveway which is mentioned in the descriptions is truly STEEP.. We have 4wd and had to back up and try it again at least twice. It was concerning.
