MCM Waterfront Getaway w/ Private Dock + 4 Kayaks

Welcome to our Mid Century Modern waterfront hideaway on the highly sought after Curry Creek. Perfectly situation between Nokomis Beach (2 miles) and Venice Beach (3 miles). Enjoy spending time fishing on the private dock or getting out on the water with our 4 kayaks and slip. We're located a half mile away from The Legacy Bike Trail (we have 3 bikes for guest use). The house has a large firepit, charcoal grill, cornhole, tons of supplies for shark teeth hunting and days spent at the beach.

The space
3 bedroom, 2 bath home. 1,950 sq. ft. The house has 2 primary bedrooms, each equipped with king sized beds and large 55" smart TVs. The third bedroom has 2 full sized beds. Private fishing dock that can accommodate 22' boat. Kayak slip for easy access out to the Gulf. Waterfront views throughout the home. Split floor plan with open concept living/dining room and kitchen perfect for entertaining and spending time with family and friends ♡

The nearest boat/jetski launch is located 2 miles from our house, about a 6 minute drive.

First of all let me say the hosts were amazing. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean up to date and in a great location for us to fish. We actually caught snuck right off the dock. But we mostly used the little break in the trees across the street to take our kayaks out. The water a mile or so from the launch is beautiful. There are plenty of fish and plenty of areas to fish at. We would stay here again if we want to visit in the Nokomis area. I for sure recommend this property in the hosts were amazing. They even went out of their way to help us out with a special request. Thank you !

This was our family’s favorite places to stay in Nokomis. Our host checked in through VRBO to make sure we made it in and see if everything was good. We enjoyed using the bikes, and we were close to the beach.

We are absolutely appalled! The day after our stay, the host messages me that there is a "stain" on the outdoor patio rug that was not there prior to our stay, and automatically charged us 350 for damages!! I have sent multiple messages to the host, and she has NOT written back at all. Let me be clear - this is NOT a stain - it is green spotted mildew/algae!! The pictures clearly show that!! Because they noticed mildew on their rug, they chose to be dishonest and charge us 350 so they could purchase a new one!!!I would NEVER book this home again, as you don't know what you might be charged for unexpectedly. This is so upsetting and sad.

Great for our Family

We were in town for a soccer tournament and it was a perfect spot for us. The house came with great bikes and kayaks which were a lot of fun, and the fire pit was fun was well. We'd definitely come again.

A couple days after checking out of the property, I received a message that I was being charged 125 for a broken microwave that was broken prior to our arrival. In fact, we were unable to use at all for that reason. I contacted the owner to let them know and heard nothing back. Then was still charged the 125 fee. I didn’t realize it was my job to tell them everything that was broken in the house. The master bedroom bed was also broken/not put together. We ended up sleeping in another room for that reason. Not happy with this situation at all.

Great Property!

We stayed here for 2 weekends while showing at Fox Lea and could not have been happier! The home was clean and spacious. Well appointed kitchen and washer and dryer was so handy to have! My son enjoyed fishing off the dock and the beds were also fantastic! The property was also close to the farm so we were able to sleep later and enjoy the house. I would highly recommend.
