Host Phillip was responsive to any question asked & even gave us an extra day to stay as the initial before season weather was not ideal. Much thought & meticulous detail has gone into this beautiful property. Our expectations were delightfully exceeded.
This was a wonderful getaway for our family. The house was all we could hope. Spotless, well stocked in the kitchen, dock and throughout, located in a quiet cove. We would love to return
Phillip was an amazing host. The home was perfect, clean, right on the water with a great boat dock. The kitchen had all we needed for family dinners. The location was peaceful, quiet, and perfect for our family reunion. My highest recommendation! We will be back!!!
Thank you Phillip for allowing us to stay at your home. Everything was wonderful. The kitchen is well supplied, we used the telescope to look at the full moon, docking is great, kayaks were a hit, beds were comfortable. Communication was great.
Hope to stay here again. - AW
The property is beautiful. Use of dock and canoe as well as other items at the dock was very rewarding.

Warm and wonderful home
We loved this house and location on the lake was perfect.
There is a dock with a ladder in the water for swimming. It worked great for our boat rental too.
The house is open and furnished quite comfortably.
The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms worked out great.
Having a lower level with a kitchenette was an added bonus and added another bit of privacy.
We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch and enjoyed several meals as we watched the hummingbirds at the feeder and in the trees.
There are several games tables which are perfect for puzzles or cards.
The lake is beautiful and fun to explore.
We had a great week and hope to return next year!

Spacious, comfortable home perfect for a family vacation
Our extended family of 11 spent a week here and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Located on a quieter part of Lake Santeetlah with a large dock and the use of 4 kayaks, the house had plenty of room for all of us to sleep and hang out in. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals, which we did almost every night, and we really enjoyed spending time on the large screened-in porch doing puzzles while having coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. We rented a pontoon boat for the week to go tubing on the lake and to experience the spectacular views of the mountains all around. We also visited Wehrloom Honey to sample the local honey mead, went blueberry picking at Stoney Hollow Farm, and had dinner on our last night at The Willow Tree in Robbinsville - highly recommend!

We've been to this cabin twice and it's been so lovely and restful!!
The kitchen is beautifully equipped, it's spacious enough for everyone to have their own peaceful personal time. All the equipment to enjoy the lake as a family and a great place to jump into the water all day long.
Everything is really well thought out, and we dream of this cabin all year until we can go again!

The perfect family vacation
These owners have thought of everything down to the skewers to roast marshmallows in the rock fire pit. We had several days of intermittent rain so we took advantage of the horseshoe pit, canoe, and kayaks. If you can't find someone in the house, look for them on the hammock! There are 2 marinas (Santeetlah and Deyton Camp) with a variety of boats including pontoons of various sizes, ski boats and wave runners to rent. We went whitewater rafting and gem mining in Bryson City. Dinner at Phillips Motel restaurant was excellent. We highly recommend this home to any visitors. We will be returning guests.

Peaceful Retreat
This is a lovely home on a peaceful lake in the Smokey Mountains. It is conveniently located to the grocery store in the small town of Robbinsville, within a reasonable drive to Bryson City, Lake Fontana and the Dragon's Tail. The "cabin is roomy" and well maintained with decks overlooking the lake. The owners were very responsive to any questions or needs.
