Hike through Minnewaska State Park, take a tour of local wineries and vineyards, or take a short trip to New Paltz or Kingston. It's a 5 minute walk to one of Hudson Valley’s finest wineries, which makes for a wonderful evening of wine and food tastings with gorgeous vineyard views.

At day's end, return to this uniquely exceptional retreat to roast marshmallows over the fire pit or go for an evening swim. Pool open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The house was so clean and spacious. The property and landscaping was beautiful. The beds were comfortable and each bathroom was clean and luxurious! The host went above and beyond For us, I would definitely stay here again!

Great family vacation home

We enjoyed very much: the location, the spacious house, the big and supplied kitchen, the pool and the Jacuzzi. Very recommended. To plan ahead: Two bedrooms have private bathrooms and two rooms are connected to one bathroom. Bunnies and deers are property guests as well…enjoy!!!

Beautiful home & great property!

We had the best stay here for a long weekend! Ken was so communicative and check in process was super easy. There was information readily available for any info or questions you needed while staying there. We had a group of 11 staying there, with plenty of room. We loved the outdoor space and pool as well. Great spot for a large group or multiple families. Highly recommend!

Great Family Stay

We gathered as a family of 9 to celebrate our 40th Anniversary with our kids and their families. We had a perfect stay! The house and grounds are beautiful, appointed with everything we needed. Nearby State Parks provided beautiful scenic walks (or hikes for the more adventurous). The pool, fire pit, and BBQ were a great addition to our celebratory weekend. Ken was a great and responsive host. Highly recommend!

Bachelor Party In New Paltz

I cannot speak more highly of this property and it’s owner, Ken. The house and grounds are beautiful and perfect for large groups. The house was clean, and ready for a group of late 30yr old men wanting a low key weekend away for a Bachelor Party. Ken was extremely responsive and lovely to deal with. Will be back for sure!

Girls Weekend

The property is gorgeous! There are beautiful fields, pool, tree covered gazebo, hot tub and deer playing in the back yard, birds overing the trees. Home is lovely and warm. Bedrooms were immaculate and bathrooms were new snd modern. Comfortable common area with large tv. Hiking, biking, shopping and wine tasting nearby. Great restaurants and fun town. It was PERFECT. Owner is friendly, helpful and responsive. I will come back to stay again

Great property!

We all enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. It was very well stocked and comfortable. Our only suggestions would be to provide better instructions about how to use streaming service (or regular cable) on the tv. Also, there was a lot of dust on floors. Otherwise, it was fantastic. Thank you!

Girls Weekend Getaway

Ken was an amazing host. He was extremely responsive and helpful. The house met all our expectations and more. There wasn’t a single thing we needed that the house did not provide. The neighborhood was perfect. From the variety of near by wineries to the local restaurants and shops. I have been to the area a few times before and this was by far the best experience I’ve had with a host and house. 10/10 in all regards.

Beautiful property, lovely stay

What a treat this was for.our 9 person family! Ken was always available and responsive and the house was perfectly suited for our group. The pictures really give you a good sense of the house. We love having one space offset from the rest with super comfy pullout beds and a TV. My grandson my great use of the basketball hoop and claimed this room as his absolute favorite. We love to cook and the availabily of cookware, plates, etc. was perfectly stored to our group. The firepit was a real treat for us and we brought the New Year in around the fire. This is definitely our new favorite place!

Absolutely spectacular!

We rented this house for a weekend with a group of friends. Everyone loved it! The interior of the house was beautiful and had a spacious layout. The grounds surrounding the house were stunning. As lovely as the photos are on the website, the views once you are on the property are just breathtaking. The owner of the house went out of his way to make our weekend perfect. Everything was clean and well stocked. There were many personal touches and details he added to our stay that really made us feel welcome. This is easiest the best experience I've ever had booking a rental ever!

Girls’ weekend

10 of us stayed for a girls’ weekend. The house was immaculate, had high quality furnishings and decor, and had everything we needed. Hot tub and pool were amazing. View was great. Plenty of beds, extra bedding, and towels. I didn’t get a code to check in so had to text the owner. Not a big deal. We couldn’t find the toaster in the am. Not a big deal. Iron for clothes was locked away so we couldn’t iron our clothes. Winery is literally right across the street. We plan on going back and staying again next summer.

Just right!

Our two families had a perfect Memorial Day weekend in this clean, light, spacious house. Ken is very easy to communicate with and everything went smoothly. The location is quiet, private and peaceful. We saw deer, groundhogs, a fox and many birds on the property. The house is well located: 15 minutes from Minnewaska State Park 10 minutes from New Paltz 8 minutes from Mohonk Preserve Visitor Center 7 minutes from Wallkill Rail Trail access in Gardiner We had four adults and five children (ages 15-23) in our party, and we had plenty of room in the house. Beds are comfortable, temperature control was easy, and bathrooms seem brand new. Since the kitchen is fully stocked, we cooked or got delivery to the house for all meals. We did not lack for anything we needed in the kitchen (which is unusual when cooking for nine in a VRBO house!). Thanks to Ken for providing the perfect home base for our weekend! We have great memories and would love to come back.
