The cottage is cozy, clean and quiet. Nestled into the base of the woods and surrounded by natural beauty. My son and i have stayed here twice now while visiting family and friends.

We stayed at the cottage while in the area for a family reunion. The cottage was comfortable and well-stocked with needed supplies.
A beautiful setting in a mountainous area. For our group of 5, the house met the overnight accommodations we needed while attending a Christian retreat in the neighborhood.
Home was clean and exactly what we needed for a peaceful weekend getaway with our kids. The coffee shop down the road had great coffee and food.

This was my first time in PA and the house was very lovely and even stocked with snacks and chocolate cupcakes from a local bakery. Had all the amenities from home. Very lovely place

Beautiful home! Our daughter loved the swing bed! The house had everything we could have needed! A tv would have been nice but it didn’t ruin our trip!

Very cute home. I have to admit my family was surprised to find no TV. Of course it didn’t list there was on, but unusual not to have one. I wish that was called out.

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you found the home cute. We understand the surprise about the absence of a TV, and we appreciate your suggestion to highlight such details more explicitly in the listing. If you decide to stay with us again, we'll strive to ensure a clearer communication of the amenities. Den, Sandpiper hometays

Unhealthy place to stay
This house would not pass a Board of Health inspection. I regret that I didn’t take a picture of the fan blades on the DC Inverter before I cleaned the mold off them. I doubt the inside of the inverter is mold free. I could only get to the blades that open and close based on operation.
It’s my opinion that the moldy/musty smell is coming from the basement, in fact at one point it even smelled like sewage. Noticed this one night after having used the washer/dryer. Especially when you lay down at night in the main bedroom, as the head of the bed next to the wall is closest to the basement. The smell just comes up through the old wood floors. I slept with a mask on. I didn’t know what I was breathing in.
