Gorgeous views! This place worked perfectly for my family weekend. Quiet neighborhood made for great sleeping. Sightglass coffee shop a few blocks away was perfect for our morning coffee and pastry. My son loved playing the beautiful piano in the living room. While we didn't spend much time in the house, it is a great rental property and is just as described. My only suggestion would be to clean the outside of the bank of windows to improve the view as they were very cloudy.

Thanks so much for staying with us! We're really glad the neighborhood, the local coffee spot, and the piano hit the mark for your family weekend. Good catch on the exterior windows—we've got an outside wash scheduled so those views stay crystal clear for future stays. We'd love to host your family again down the road!

Wow!! What a perfect house in the city!! And the view!!! Spectacular city view during the day and night! Our family of 6 had a very comfortable and peaceful stay at this incredible home. It feels like you are on top of the city and the neighborhood is clean and friendly. Parking was great. Location is walking distance to Buena Vista Park and Golden Gate Park. Host was magnificent. We had such a great time and being able to gather in that beautiful sunroom overlooking the city for meals was such a bonus! Can’t wait to stay here again!

Very convenient and comfortable location on a quiet residential street. Spectacular view of the city from living area. KItchen was equipped to host Thanksgiving dinner for my family. The host was very responsive to requests and provided detailed info about restaurants, cafes and activities We enjoyed our 2 week stay. Note there are steps to the front door, and then to common areas and bedrooms.

Buena vista indeed

Absolutely amazing place to stay in the city. We had some shows to go to but I almost would have been happier just staying in. The house is a timeless design with a jaw dropping view of the city. All the rooms on the first floor are well equipped for guests and the space is immaculate. The ceiling is well insulted you can’t hear any footsteps from The living room upstairs from the bedrooms. Peaceful, quiet place on top of the hill we will definitely stay here again next time we are in the city with friends.

This is one of the most spectacular, characterful houses my family and I have ever stayed at. The photos do not do justice to the views. Check in was straightforward and communication with the host was very good. The house is on the older side, characteristic of properties in SF. It is beautifully furnished, with an incredible and eclectic array of art, books and furniture and the beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding neighbourhoods. As others have said, the garage is narrow, but for reference, we managed to get a Jeep in there just about. We only stayed for a couple of nights but I wouldn't hesitate to return the next time we're in the city.

The house was clean and conveniently located. I had inquired about an earlier check in time; the 4pm check in was right as we had an engagement party at 5:30 and had just arrived from the east coast. Unfortunately the host was unwilling to allow us a 3pm check in which was disappointing. Also, make sure to rent a small car as the garage is very small.
